  1. garage space and the size of a cargo bike is a good point. Here is a fairly accurate rendering of how it will fit with the rest of the fleet:

  2. Stopped 7 people riding on Peddlers last night. All were newbies (except 1) and didn't know not to ride muddy trails. They were all nice and apologized. GET READY FOR A RANT. But that one guy that knew better...eeeerrrrr. It's always some variation of the conversation below with experienced riders when they are busted riding muddy trails. ME: Trails are too muddy to ride. THEM: You think so? ME: Yes. THEM: I thought so too, I noticed it was a little muddy, but I wasn't sure. I was going to get off the trail in a minute cause it's to muddy. Do you really think it's that bad? ME: Yes, it's too muddy to ride, look at your wheels they are caked in mud. THEM: Yeah, I saw that, but didn't think it was that bad. ME: It's bad, look at the rut under your tire. It takes hours for me to fix all the ruts. THEM: Thanks for all your work. Ok, I'll get off the trail around the corner. Of course they don't offer to help, they don't get off their bike and walk, they ride off creating more ruts. Another funny thing that happens is when an experienced person sees me working and it's too muddy they will exit the trail before they get to me to avoid the conversation above.

  8. ...(4) the sound editing. It's almost all to fast. I love that they slowed down the last jump so you can see how much Semenuk threw in a little extra tweak. Man, those guys can ride.

  10. They will be taped off for everyone. There may be one or two bypasses open for the Junior race, but they will be closed for the adults.

  12. Went out on gravel bike yesterday around 3:30-4:00. Even the granite sections exposed to the sun were really soft, no standing water but noticeably soft. Also noticed muddy tire tracks and clumps of mud coming from some of the trail exit/entrances. Some people always think they know best or just don't GAF.

  15. Well, there are plenty of readers in Austin with $9k-11k bikes too (road or MTB.) The cool thing about these profiles is you get to see all the good parts at once and how they add up in weight. It's more fun reading about exotic cars than a Fiesta!

  17. sub-24lbs 120mm full suspension bike with dropper and remote lockouts. That's why it's US$11k. Adding lightness is expensive once you get below a certain point.

  18. I ordered the size I usually wear in any shoe (9.5). I haven't had a chance to ride in them yet, but they felt fine walking around the house. I have another pair of 5-10s in a 9.5 that I bought for a short lived flat pedal experiment, so I felt pretty good about the sizing.

  19. Plus, I doubt you can do a backflip with a cargo bike. (Or pop up a curb)

  20. I signed up for cat 2 although this most definitely isnt my type of race and and kinda big and heavy and slow. I think I have some fast rolling tires I gonna put on the primer for this event.

  24. I particularly enjoy it when I can explain how I have just made a pun when the subtlety evades detection. This time, punning with the words found on the image of the bike frame, "rough" and "jump," specifically. In all other regards the Type-whatever personality I have is on board with seeing such standards adopted, but, that has absolutely nothing to do with the joy of a pun that was delivered, then, explained.

  25. I was super sad to come downstairs at 6:30 AM today and see it had rained a good bit. I needed a good ride this AM. Maybe I'll wait till tonight and ride in the dark so HB can't yell at me ... I kid. Or I'll ride the Hike n Bike or go elsewhere. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
