  2. Right! Sometimes it is fun to nudge it in a direction just to see where it might go. You can't unsee that Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  6. Just about done with the home gym setup. All that's left to do is mount a small TV above the new ProForm Smart HIIT that I just finished assembling. For anybody in the market for fitness equipment, Sears Online is selling ProForm's stuff for hundreds less than any other retailer. This one was on sale for $999 either direct or through Dicks, but I got it for $599 with free delivery from Sears. Also, Sears includes a 1-yr iFit membership whereas the others do not. I would never have believed you could get a machine put together this well for $599. Anybody on here ever used iFit? With 32 onboard programs, I'm not sure that iFit is going to do much more for me. I'd rather listen to music or watch sports on TV than listen to an online coach telling me how well I'm working my glutes.

  7. And I'll be looking forward to some fish tales. If they're good enough, might even be material for a new thread topic.

  8. I've submitted the routes into TrailForks and posted the links to each route in the Event thread for the SATN Social. If folks who use TrailForks will click the links in that thread and then select "confirm" for each route that will speed up the approval for public viewing. Edit: The TF routes have been approved and made live. A search on TF for SATN Social will show them.

  9. I've submitted the three .gpx routes into TrailForks, and used the latest "no gray areas" gpx for East. Here are links to the routes. https://www.trailforks.com/route/satn-social-east-10-26-19-event/ https://www.trailforks.com/route/satn-social-north-10-26-19-event/ https://www.trailforks.com/route/satn-social-south-10-26-19-event/

  10. Wife and I went hard in WV so been on the wagon for a little over three weeks. Gonna try and keep the momentum going until the banduro. After that, it's "no remember November" 🤣. On the bright side, lost 5lbs just from not drinking. Been grabbing these at specs for the old man aches.

  11. The Bulldog NICA teams had this same issue and moved to the open parking lot and green space on the southwest corner of Beckett and Slaughter. Someone “in charge” is going to have to be the heavy and just keep reminding people until it reaches a critical mass and just happens on its own. I doubt Frank would ever say anything but maybe if he did, it would carry a bit more weight.

  12. TrailForks has it listed too. https://www.trailforks.com/region/possum-kingdom-lake-26556/ Looking forward to a ride report in the MTB Destinations thread if you manage to stir up some dust there. 👍

  15. This happened to me once on a no-drop ride around LGT. There was only one group going the full distance, and that was the fast group. I had never ridden LGT before, but had done plenty of 7+ hour Epics in the Cascades, at my own pace. We started at Tejas so the first few miles was flat out sprinting for these guys. By the time we had to start climbing, I was gassed. The sweep asked if I'd be able to keep up and I said not at this pace; so he told me I'd have to go back. I'm like, "hey dude I'm 55 yrs old and I think I'll just continue on at my own pace by myself". I ended up doing a 20mi out-and-back that took everything out of me. Last year at DS and at 60 yrs old, I did a full lap in 3:17, and thought back to that fateful day when I got dropped from a "no drop" ride.

  18. No reason not to, unless you are a techtard like I am. That would be cool if they were on there.

  19. We rode this last night, and blown away with what's already out there that I didn't realize. Then looking at our route on Strava this morning, it's even more amazing how much real estate is sitting there waiting! Love living in Cedar Park, more and more everyday 🙂

  20. Maybe that is key. I'll defer to your sole-wrenching experience lest I come across as a heel.
