So apparently it's a bump stop. I must have bottomed out too hard and broke it. Just one more thing to add to the list of things I need to keep this bike running. It really sucks watching your loved ones grow old.2 points

Below expected utilization for what services? All of healthcare is suffering from loss of business just like many other industries. In a pandemic situation though, it's not overall healthcare utilization that matters. It's utilization of the services that are required to treat severely ill patients, and ensuring that infections don't spread within the walls of those facilities. I have close ties to leaders across each of the major health systems in Austin, and can assure you that none of them are brushing off this pandemic in the manner that you are trying to do.2 points

On my second one buddy and hoping I make it through dinner! At 13.2% I'm thinking that is borderline Barleywine territory.2 points

What are the C piece that came off and the other part left on the shaft made of? Since this is on the air sleeve and the seals are under the silver washer, I can only see 2 possible functions for this: if it's rubber it's a bump stop. If it's hard plastic, it's a volume reducer. If it's aluminum, I really have no idea.1 point

Over the past 6-8 yrs I've spent a good amount of time on an MX bike riding in the woods. I've done some hare scrambles and enduros during that time. By far the biggest adjustment I had was in weighting the INSIDE peg to turn the motorcycle (when standing). After spending 20yrs on a bicycle this was completely foreign and awkward to me. Very counterintuitive. I run my brakes 'normal' on both my MX bike and MTB and I never get confused....but my first few minutes of riding my MX bike in the woods and I'm consciously having to readjust my weight transfer for my feet. Cheers, CJB1 point

The leg dangle has been a thing in MotoGP for many years now. I believe Rossi (definitely not one of the younger guys) started it, and many of the top riders followed. There has been a lot of discussion and speculation as to why they do it at the GP level with nobody ever really confirming why, but it has stuck. In general body positioning in GP racing has changed a lot vs. decades ago, I think the inside body positioning has gotten a lot more significant to the point where the top riders like Marquez are now dragging elbows on the track. It's funny seeing this topic come up here because I've often speculated that riding a sportbike is definitely not helping with my MTB cornering. Seems I'm not alone.1 point

Man, I finally am spending time out at the Ninja and learning my way around. Holy balls that stuff is fun when you kinda start knowing generally how to go. I must’ve ended up on the church stuff because I came upon the jump lines for the first time and let out a “Holy S***!” I hit that small drop like 6 times. My fav run at it was the first one I did with loads of speed from the top of the run-in trail. But man, thank you to the church and that 512Freeride (I think/hope) crew. That stuff is, dare I say, real dope. Respect. The bad news is I've recently learned how to halfass jump. I can’t wait to at least clear the tables(?) for the first time, but those wooden booter deals look and feel awesome. Ugh.1 point

If you could keep a snifter of the Wee Beastie to one side, I would appreciate it. I’m from the island next door, but that one does sound enticing.1 point

Just got back from SN, definitely started thick and humid but improved. Trails were dry but not dusty.1 point

All trails here at Brushy are in good shape. Somehow the rain this morning in Austin dissipated before it got here.1 point

It could have been Hitting the Apex but if I'm wrong and you have not seen it the documentary is definitely worth a watch.1 point
