  2. As a fellow recent lip injury recipient, I can certainly sympathize. I was lucky enough to have an urgent care facility open at 2AM and super close by, and a buddy to get me there. I was unlucky enough to need 11 stitches for my repair though (the installer claimed it was 12, but the un-installer only found 11).

  4. Any shop that has a bti-usa.com account can use them for a complete service. They are reasonable and it's 2 week turnaround. Much better and lower cost than sending direct to Fox. Their guy there, Kane, is awesome!.

  5. THe bikes I have in stock now are because I placed orders last July... 😉 Many of the bikes on the rack are demo bikes. I had been diligent about keeping orders in the queue so that I have bikes trickling in throughout this year.

  6. Unfortunately I think you have nailed it. Cloudcroft was the centerpiece of my first 3 trips to real mountains back in the mid to late 90's. Sadly, little has changed. Seems like it is still mainly the High Altitude Race Course and the Rim Trail and the latter is pretty moto/ATV'd out. Better chances in the Ruidoso area, but that is still far from top shelf. Sucks because this area has serious potential and is about as close as Bentonville but has a real mountain climate, bears, elk, etc.

  10. I'd trust James to do a good job. He's outstanding on wheels and I believe he's thorough, methodical, and has good attention to detail so I'd trust him for suspension.

  11. I tore my proximal bicep tendon 15 years ago. They couldn't re-attach it so now I have a unicep and back closer to when it happened my friends accused me of constantly flexing my left arm. I was told that even if they'd been able to re-attach it may not do much good. Is a distal repair more usable?

  12. Since this was bumped I will share my injury story. I play ice hockey in the local leagues but hadn't played in a year because Covid. Well, after getting vaccinated I subbed in a game a month ago and promptly tore my distal bicep tendon from the bone. Had surgery and now no riding until at least until July/August. Sucks because I recently got a new bike and was putting in 70+ miles a week. On the bright side (for me) is I haven't missed much trail riding because of the rains. I have been hiking a lot of the trails I normally ride which give a cool perspective of lines, etc. /CSB
