  1. Middle Friday of every month my company gives us a “wellness day” off. My wellness day today was focused on picking up the new salsa timberjack SS and putting my touches on it. 32x22 is the gearing

  5. Temps, humidity, and trails were all in good condition this morning! I got started around 6:45ish and quite a few people out beating the heat😁

  6. Back 40 has at least a few options. Many of the trailheads/parking lots have water fountains with bottle fill stations. Unfortunately not all of them are operational. Two weeks ago the Lake Ann trailhead at the end of Flo Ride was off for some reason. But the most remote and northern one (most important one!) was on! This lot: But probably many more. And there's a convenience store a few miles off the north side as well, with a sign directing you ro it. And hell, if nothing else you're around a shit-ton of houses. Lots of water hoses if you don't mind asking.

  7. To make things more difficult. I'll throw out another option. Buy a GX eagle derailleur and a 11-50 sunrace 11spd cassette and just keep your existing shifter and chainring. I'm running a XT 12spd derailleur, sunrace 11-50 cassette, XTR selectable 11/12spd shifter with a 12 spd KMC chain. Works well and keeps things easily upgradeable.

  11. That’s a good question Antonio. I’ve never done it in the summer when you would need a water refill. There are neighborhoods that you pass through but I don’t think you can rely on that for water. There are very few convenience stores out there. I’d suggest picking your parking place so you can make medium loops that you link into bigger loops? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. If you go with the e13, order a chain as the 28/9 probably won't work with your existing chain length. Eagle GX is best shifting for the money

  14. IF it were me, I'd grab a new cassette and run the 28t. Sunrace makes a 10-46 11spd XD driver cassette that'll work with your XX1. I have tested the 11-46 on my 11spd X01 and it worked fine. 46 is max on those. plus the 46t will take up some chain, and the 28t will give you the slack back. Better over geared than under. https://www.sunrace.com/en/products/detail/csmx9x

  16. I finally got it finished. I used 10ft 1 5/8 superstrutt from Home Depot and ordered the sliders from Paul’s Custom Brackets (made in the USA!). The two wheels mean you need to provide maybe 2lbs up force to slide them but it works perfectly and these are much cheaper than the 4 bearing ones. The other improvement is that I ground the wood threads down and used an M5 die. Double nutted and loctite. https://youtube.com/shorts/BHOLA7fPeiA?feature=share
