  1. We are buying a piece of land and my Google skills seem lacking. Are there trail dozer for sale or rent around central TX?
  2. I think many trail walkers have no idea what that means. I'll say "excuse me, coming up on your left" or something similar. It's annoying when you have to yell. And when they act startled I'm thinking, no shit, turn down your headphone volume idiot.
  3. Did a Google on Carol Lee Preserve and the first thing to pop up was fence planningā˜¹
  4. Years ago I did an MTB trip with Western Spirit around the South Rim. We rode outside of the National Park.
  5. As that is a single speed event, I assume there will be kegs strategically placed on the hill and shots required before advancing past?
  6. Where will this info be posted? Is there an email list I can get on?
  7. I've got a pole mounted chain saw. If there's a work day coming, let me know
  8. No, I don't think Jeremiah was the main guy. He followed Nelo to Nelo's shop. I'm not sure if they were partners in that shop. Eurosport closed in the early 2000s if not maybe late 90s.
  9. Jeremiah was at Eurosport too. I think he made the GASP shirts. I'm still in touch with Jeremiah.
  10. They were in the building where Kava bar is. I remember they had both floors. I think the 1st floor was service and the 2nd was sales but it's been a long time so I could be wrong. Around the same time they has a store on 183 near Anderson Mill.
  11. Remember the section of City Park that was supposed to reopen in 2009?
  12. Was Bitter End the first brew pub in Austin? I was trying to remember the name of this place recently
  13. Bobby moved back to AZ to be closer to family as he had some personal issues as mentioned above.
  14. Nelo's and Music City. I don't think there was a better wrench in town than Dave @ Music City. Bobby at Nelo's was a close 2nd. There was reference to SuperGo. I only remember them as a catalog store (those paper things you used to get in the mail).
  15. It's possible they moved there and by that time I was frequenting their store on 183 near Anderson Mill. I think they moved to Toomey by 95. Austin Tricyclist has been on Barton Springs for a really long time.
  16. BSS was in a 2 story shack on Barton Springs that is still there. It's now Kava Bar. Then they moved to Toomey for a number of years. Their current location must've been vacant when I got here. There was a lot of vacant businesses. I miss their new year's day rides
  17. When was it a bowling alley? I can't remember what it was before BSS moved in. I remember when they were located on Barton Springs in what is now a juice shop.
  18. Reminds me of 24 Hours of Rocky Hill years ago on a night lap. I stopped for a massive snake slithering across the trail. Another guy came flying up and screamed,"WOOHOO!Snake!" as he bunnyhopped it.
  19. Burr Trail Switchback, Grandstaircase-Escalante on my gravel bike with caliper brakes. 1,200' of descending. Apparently I'm a wuss
  20. A buddy loves them. He sold a bike and bought a gravel bike with them and was happy with the experience.
