OK, done giving away electronics, now back to bike stuff.

One pair of large Swiftwick socks. Worn three times. The first time I realized that they don't fit my size 11 feet that well. The second and third times I was trying to convince myself that I was wrong. I realized I was right, just not for me.

One pair of L/XL Pearl Izumi toe covers, they have the cutout for cleats.

    Porch pickup in central Austin.

I take both if still available

  2. I'm heading out with my youngest son to ride South Boundary in about 2 weeks.  He's grown so much that I need to adjust his bike fit for a ride that long.  I'm hoping to find a 27.2 stack post of some kind.  I figured these things would be plentiful, but I'm also happy to pay $$ if its needed.
    Thanks,
    CJB

How much setback do you need?

Yes, they are all left, ie it was raining and no one  wanted to get wet! 😉

Where are they at?  I checked by your mailbox after you posted this and didn’t see them.  I figured they were all gone.

If he does not they are reasonably priced and worth their weight in gold.

In a side note, my new opener has it built in and is belt vs. chain drive. HOLY CRAP what a difference that makes. I love the quieter operation. Cost $200 for the opener and $180 fully installed. What a difference, even my wife thinks it was a great upgrade.

Yes, belt drive openers are considerably quieter.  Also, the belts last a really long time. I just replaced the one on my opener, and I think it was close to 20 years old.  And the manufacturer still covered it under warranty!

Chamberlain MyQ. This mounts to your ceiling next to your garage door opener, works with most recent models. You download an app and you can then use your phone to open and close the garage. Great if you ride from your house regularly. Or if you are an old guy like me and get 2 miles away and say "did I close the garage door?"

Here is what it can do: https://www.amazon.com/Chamberlain-MYQ-G0201-MyQ-Garage-Controls-Smartphone/dp/B00EAD65UW

Works fine, we just got a new opener that has this built in so we no longer need the add-on device.

Ping me if you want it.

    I'm totally interested in this.

  6. I have a couple of 12 year old Nashbar dumb trainers that are basically just spider nests at this point. They work most any wheel size with quick release axles.
    Anyone want one or both?

    I'm interested in the Martas

  8. Just cleaning house. I have over a dozen tires, mostly 29”, but a few 700c roadies, and a few 27.5’s, I think.  They are useable, no holes, but may not be tubeless ready.  Most are NN type.

I’m interested in the 28mm road tires in the top of the box.

  9. looking for a high-sweep, low-rise handlebar for my wife:
    at least 660mm wide
    15-25 degrees of backsweep
    20mm rise or less
    31.8 mm clamp

Something like a Salsa Bend 2 would work.

I have an Origin8 Batwing bar I’m not using. They should fit the bill. You’re welcome to try them.

Ok, a bunch of stuff that is NBR but valuable to someone.

Bring me a 6-pack of nice IPA and take home either of these:

    • Yamaha RX V992 AV receiver. Not HDMI.
    • Synology DS 213J 2-drive NAS (no drives). Drives are screw-mounted, not pluggable. Runs NAS, VPN, DHCP and lots of other stuff. Can be used as a Plex server, cloud server, photo or video server, etc.)

Just come and take this other stuff from me:

    • Business card scanner
    • Hunter ceiling fan remote, turns any ceiling fan into a remotely controlled fan
    • iHome iPod speaker - has remote, uses a 30-pin apple connection, like you find on older iPhones and iPods. Great for the garage workbench.

Ping me if you want any of this stuff, pickup is in Central Austin.

I am interested in the Synology NAS.  What kind of IPA do you prefer?

  11. I adopted an old Hard Rock that I'd like to rebuild to the bare minimum as a beater/ grocery bike. Needs:
26" tires, preferably slicks. Toobs too
3x7 Shimano shifters. The twisters that were on it were shot.
    Canti or v-brakes and levers
I think I can make the rest of it work with parts I already have. Whatcha got?

I have a set of Avid SD5 v-brakes and levers you can have.

  12. Large fanny pack

This thing is big - too big for my tastes. But maybe your the type of person how Ho is prepared for anything. If so, then this is the pack for you. Holds two water bottles and a whole load of crap.

  13. I have a pair. I lost the first pair I had and missed them so much that a bought another pair. Then I found the old ones. You can have em. They are grey and they are the non-flexy ones.

That’s awesome! PM your details so we can arrange for me to pick them up.
