The whole green movement is just another grift being propped up by lobbyists to extract our money. Is climate change real? absolutely. Do we have an impact on climate change? yes. The real question is how big of an impact? how is it measured? All we see are people crying we need to do something about climate change right now! The earth has been around for 4.5 billion years the Industrial Revolution began 260 years ago, to believe we've had a significant enough impact to cause significant climate change in that amount of time seams ridiculous and most likely is. Currently the earth is greener than it has been and even greener than it was 20 years ago which is a good thing more trees more O2, trees are the natural air scrubbers of the planet yet we continually cut trees down for the sake of progress and money. Like @ATXZJ mentioned the earth has gone through many ice ages and many warm periods and will continue to so totally disregarding us. Every so often the earth turns into a blender resetting itself and eliminating most of the life on the planet in the process, we have no power or control over any of it. And if we did we would f**k that up as well.

When I first saw this thread Costco had the Shimano version listed. GRX 2x.

As far as the gravel bike is concerned I personally would opt for the Shimano. I have a gravel bike with Sram Rival which is a step up from Apex and the function is just OK. I have another gravel bike with Shimano GRX and everything about how it operates is much better/smoother than Sram.

I think TV coverage will be the least of MTB racings problems. There's no need for coverage if there's no teams. So many sponsors have pulled the plug. Many riders with no future rides. When a rider like Danny Hart can't secure a ride things look pretty bleak.

So they're hiking on the trail and get upset when trail work is being done not understanding if it wasn't for the mountain bikers there would be no trails to hike. Typical.

Rode yesterday and trails were great.

It's very odd to ride there now and be able to see just open land. You don't realize how much vegetation was there until now. It's sad but it will grow back and probably thicker when it does.

Saw this guy yesterday at the top of the climb by the stores on SN. Looks like he's still around. Looks leucistic not albino, lacks the red eyes.

Oscar Blues is owned by Monster Energy drinks which leads me to believe Monster may also be in a bit of financial trouble.

I agree with @ATXZJ that one of the things that turns me away from a brewery most is no food or food truck. My wife and I like to go to a brewery for lunch on the weekends no food is a deal breaker for us. Redhorn has food at both locations, Hell or Highwater is partnered with the Shack out on the lake and has a kitchen that makes pretty good stuff, there's also Whitestone who are partnered with Ron Burguesas food truck but Whitestones tap list has much to be desired. Whitestone used to brew some pretty good stuff but now it seems that they only brew the basic staple beers that everyone else brews which IMO are mediocre. It appears that one of the largest cannibis companies is buying up breweries right now as it looks like Anheuser Busch is liquidating their portfolio. I believe a lot of the small breweries were in hopes of getting enough traction that a large corporation would take interest and make a buyout offer but that ship has sailed. With the economy contracting there's going to be a lot of this in many industries including the bicycle industry, for a while there they were naming their prices for bikes and frames but now I'm seeing prices dropping. I bought my Rascal frame in October 2020 for $2800 shortly after they went up to $3500 now they are back down to $2800. In the end the market will adjust itself accordingly.

@AntonioGG The black Quad is a great deal for a 10% beer only costing around $5-7 a bottle, it's a pretty good beer for that cost.

Celis filed for chapter 11 a few years ago and was able to get backing. The daughter is one of the owners now using the original recipes. But it seems the beer thing is shrinking. Too many breweries brewing the same beers as each other and not enough diversity in styles. IMO Redhorn has the most diverse tap list locally, pretty much something for everyone. Their dark side of the wall event is one of my favorites. Hell Or Highwater brewing in liberty hill does some good stuff too. Thinking the bike industry is following suit.

Incredible riding and scenery. Andreu is one of the best.

I ordered a new shock and the rear mount was supposed to be 30.5mm. Upon arrival and inspection however, it appears to be around 31.5mm. I'm assuming there must be a way to remove the mounting hardware and take out the smallest spacer on each side, which I think would get me to where I need to be. Is there a special tool that is used on shock mounting hardware? I'm unable to loosen by hand. 

The caps should just slide off. A tool is required for removing the DU bushing though. I have a bushing press if you need.
