  1. Can someone please do one for BCGB? i know the main trail, its all the side stuff that i need help with.
  2. i believe its Suburban Ninja https://caltopo.com/m/6DN1
  3. they have rentals at spider, might be a good place to start. i rode my 5010 there with no issue. Spider is not particularly rough and no big drops, so I would just ride your czar there, as long you drop your seat. it is steep and loose in places, so head tube angle and tire choice is more of a concern.
  4. Might be obvious, but Walnut has great family riding. started taking the kids there as soon as they were on 24". the boardwalk downtown is great, and you can connect it to the new shoal creek trail which is fun.
  5. here a great reference map: https://caltopo.com/m/6DN1
  6. nice balcones! how big is this drop 10 ft? does it have a name yet?
  7. YT Demo APR 20 - 21, 2019 ROLLING CIRCUS @ SPIDER MOUNTAIN BURNET, TX JEFFSY, CAPRA, TUES
  8. Thunderbird Lodge is the property that Spider Mountain sits on. and yes, spider mountain needs to get its act together on the marketing front. A webpage would maybe be helpful in 2019.
  9. Its on Trailforks: https://www.trailforks.com/region/spider-mountain-bike-park-27035/
  10. yeah, if you watch video of Cali trails, in particular SoCal, alot of the trails have big ruts going down the whole way. must be the dirt.
  11. i'm ok with them not providing a trail only pass or single tickets. it keeps the pricing simple. who wants to monitor whether or not there are ebikes on the triail, people riding up, deal with passes, etc. you're there, just ride the lift and get more runs in. the basic problem is the at the price is steep. i think $30-40 is more of a sweet spot. and hopefully the price will come down in time. but there will be plenty of people willing to pay $50. Spider Mountain's best resource is the fact that there are like 10 million people within 3 hour drive.
  12. The blue trail actually rode quite well in the rain. Rotor Smoker is a different story, complete muddy mess. Black Sabbath was in between, not particularly muddy, but the trail was deteriorating.
  13. wow, love the idea of having two bikes out of one frame. what is their carbon frame warranty like?
  14. Why is the pass only valid for 3 months? this doesn't make any sense to me. i'll probably drop the $50 one time just because i have not done lift access before, but the prices seem quite steep for what you're getting.
  15. Hey, anybody know if Walnut is rideable today Nov 14?
  16. when she calls you back, please ask if they can finish the Balcones Park extension sometime this decade?
  17. So, it looks something like this? I've never checked out that Hyde Park Quarries area: Also, I believe there's now a pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks you mention.
  18. i wish they would connect this piece to metric in some way. then you could get from wells branch all the way downtown on shoal creek uninterrupted. Thanks for the update.
  19. Those Hope rims have terrible reviews, which is surprising. Chain Reaction has a number of options for 26". I would probably go with these DT Swiss: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/dt-swiss-ex-471-mtb-rim/rp-prod161561
  20. It ain't cheap, but you can get a hope rim to match your hub: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/hope-tech-xc-mtb-rim/rp-prod139561
  21. Seems to be going out of business, lots of closeout items. All Sales are Final. https://www.artscyclery.com/ Some good deals on wheels. I just ordered a pair of googles for $20.
