  1. We’re moving and we are not taking these with us. Asking $300. Functions completely fine and have for about 3 years. Dryer is electric, not gas. Please pickup either Tuesday 7/28 or Wednesday 7/29. I could deliver within a decent distance for the right price. Located near Lakeline.
  2. Preach. Nothing grinds my gears more than seeing the bro’s on pinkbike all jazzed up in the comments because a new bike has a 63.5 degree head angle because that is literally the only thing they know how to somewhat interpret.
  3. I’m spinning well before 7am every ride, sometimes even before 6am. Only way I can survive this shit.
  4. I have done Reimers and pace bend on the same day with the same pass, as well as other random parks with those day passes. I have stumbled upon much (maybe all) of the new stuff at Pace Bend this year. Hard to miss if you plan a good, long ride.
  5. This has basically been my stance since day 1. If you’re afraid, protect yourself the best you can, but I firmly believe that this is nature culling the herd and we individually have little say over that right now (outside of delaying infection a bit by wearing a mask and whatnot). In today’s age much of the population does not realize we a very vulnerable species to some of the smallest micro-organisms known (and unknown) to mankind.
  6. 24 inch dell monitor free to a new home. Works fine. Has a bit of faded color to it but functions just fine. I’ve used it for 2 years after picking it up from goodwill for $15 I believe. We’re moving in a few weeks and I’m upgrading my office, which included an amazing 27 inch curved monitor that is currently blowing my mind. Pickup in Lakeline area.
  7. Forgot about this thread. Newest addition is the steel salsa fargo. Hands down the most enjoyable bike I’ve ever ridden. I cannot explain how comfortable, compliant, capable and fast it is all at once.
  8. The only thing worse than a single issue voter is someone who can’t fathom a person voting on both sides of different issues. If I’m a gun advocate the left thinks I’m a soon to be serial killer, if I’m pro choice the right thinks I want all babies to die. The informed independent voter will always be scrutinized by whoever their audience of the moment is. This is 2020.
  9. 1.5 miles west of YMCA and got nothing. As a matter of fact I’m 6 beers deep at the pool and it’s been great out here for the last few hours.
  10. I’m all in on comparing indoor vs outdoor events. Saying Idaho Coeur d’Alene AR15 owners in outdoors crowds with masks on standing in front of their businesses are putting the population at risk of getting the virus, but in the same city the protestors are “doing things the right way” is a comparison that is not in good faith. That is what I’m tired of.
  11. I wanted to follow up on this. I too had my MTB saddle about 1/2” lower than both of my other bikes. Recently I pulled my dropper to re-grease it and put it back in and matched it with the other bikes. 3 rides in now I just switched it back to 3/8-1/2” lower. I think I was running it 1/2” lower originally because at times on that bike I’ll get caught with my pants down off of a drop or in some chunk, and still have my dropper up, so that half inch was kind of my bail out in a bad situation. The last couple rides running it at full extent I lost that and had a couple incidents where I was looking for that half inch bail out. I’ll take a little less pedaling efficiency for a little more confidence that if I forget that dropper I won’t completely eat shit.
  12. I don’t watch or care about any of the media. I simply see hundreds and hundreds (sometimes thousands) of people with and without masks gathering to protest. The only fact here is that not every protestor has a mask on. Nobody is going to tell me the same ratio of masks to no masks at some other type of gathering is causing more harm than these protests. Period. And honestly, there are some people are trying to push this agenda. It is mind boggling how cripple our society is right now in a blame game. From the highest to the lowest level.
  13. I rode this morning. Pretty much hero dirt. A couple wet spots at creek crossings, but that’s expected. I was going to ask WTF this was at the beginning of windy loop. I haven’t ridden walnut in a couple months, but this took me by surprise:
  14. Oh come on! Every part of society has played a part in this spike, absolutely 100% including the protests.
  15. There is no “we” on either side of the isle and hasn’t been in 30+ years, sadly. There is a “me”, and there is an “us in charge”. I have, and will continue to vote on both sides of the isle, because in the end we are literally voting for the lesser of two evils.
  16. 82 degrees and cloudy/rainy on a Wednesday? I like to call that whiskey wednesday with friends. Whiskey: Friends:
  17. Held up just fine on this mornings ride. Beware of bad factory tape jobs.
  18. Update: over night the tire went from 30psi to 24. Not bad. I lean towards a bad tape job and now with a good tape job it’s just sealing up. Heading out for a ride now so if I holds at my standard pressure I think we have solved this issue.
  19. Okay. Pulled the tire (and Cush core) off. Taped with gorilla tape. Still leaked. Put 30psi in it and rode around like a bat out of hell. No more leak (forgot the non-leaking pic). Set at 30 on the button over night. Will report back in the morning.
  20. Staying on the high side of SN is completely different soil from anything at brushy from my experience. I got to red horn and still had brushy gravel stuck to my tires with near zero mud from SN.
  21. Oh yea. I did a roadie-ish ride through brushy with some suburban ninja to red horn then back home. ~17 miles and it rained every minutes of it. I’d be amazed if trails are good today.
  22. Nice. I’ve had continuous success (only 3 sets of wheels, but still success) with gorilla tape. Sounds like I have something to do after this stupid gender reveal party. Will keep you all posted.
  23. These were taped from the factory, but if I re-tape it will be with gorilla tape.
  24. Report is in. Not as much rain as my home, but still a lot of rain. PP chain is up. This is from going around the entrance triangle.
  25. First time this has happened to me Noticed a flat yesterday after putting this bike up last Saturday. Almost every spoke is leaking on the front wheel. Best plan of action? I’ve never had to deal with this before. ETA: could it be as simple as a poor tubeless tape job that’s took 200 miles of riding to really uncover? Or is this a bigger problem? Would I start with re-tapeing?
