  1. Just now, I heard that someone tore down the blockade and fence on the old Bob Ross trail section and pitched it into the woods! Apparently towards the Rim side. Just heard about it. received_429425584927299.webp
  2. OK, now I'm just upset https://fb.watch/3jam5klsE5/
  3. Cheap Amazon handlebar light didn't have a 35mm clamp, so I machined an old seatpost clamp and moded to hard mount the light.
  4. Yeah, that was my "local" bike shop since it was about 3 blocks from my house. Always cruised over to buy what I needed from them as much as possible.
  5. I need to show this to my son. He would buy it in a heartbeat!
  6. Anytime, PM you the address for pickup, and FREE
  7. Ridiculous prices: https://austin.craigslist.org/bop/d/pflugerville-huffy-blades-bike-for-sale/7244410984.html
  8. A little dirty, but yours if you want them
  9. Don't do it! I ended up with a Devinci Troy after a "demo" ride😉😁 Seriously - Give Velo a ring - they will hook you up.
  10. WTF kind of monstrosity is this? https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/2505157289787368/?ref=share_attachment
  11. Same here - I have several crank pullers Square taper/ISIS/Etc
  12. Man, this would be some crazy steering! https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-jetson-adventure-electric-bicycle/7231500089.html
  13. That actually looks stupid fun! I would do it over and over !
  14. Yeah, I rode there on Sunday, and encountered at least 25 bikers on Deception. I love to see more people out on bikes, but the trails are getting destroyed. Brushy has almost every technical section widened and blown out as people decide to bypass. Sad.
  15. Two story. Kids' bedrooms upstairs, so no sun heating. Garage door has insulation for winter, but keep it open for summer. Have a cheap ceiling fan above the workbench/bike shop, and have a box fan on a rolling fixture with extra long cord if I need to move it around to where I'm working at the time. Yeah, I sweat, but I sweat bourbon and hops, so not a bad combo to smell like😁
  16. Gonna have to study that a bit. I like jumping under ditches and thru greenbelts to connect.
  17. I have heard of a way to connect those from a previous trail gnome who jumps onto 178. I am thinking about pulling together a "north" EB. Include: All of Brushy trails, Behrens, Wilco, Suburban, and Crystal Falls. Trying to work out how to string them together using the brushy trail and 183A trail network while trying not to hit 1431/Ronald Reagan/etc. I know Barry has done this and more (adding in lake Georgetown), but I don't drink enough Bourbon for that.
  18. I know several of us are guilty of such abuse. Forgive me Oh CycleGods - for I have sinned. This was my worst one - on a singlespeed found this during a ride up Lakeway. Years ago. Metal fatigue at its finest.
  19. I just hit Behrens and need a tour - I wandered out there and its pretty fun - very similiar to Wilco.
  20. Riding Mulligan backwards - I clipped a bar and this is where my bike landed. If I went OTB - I would have fallen down that cliff to the stream that divides the trail from the golfcourse. My eyes got REALLY big when I noticed where I was heading.! Front wheel is actually over the edge!
  21. I will check it out when I get home - but peruse the PIF thread.
