  1. @Michael Bevilacqua So does that mean the trails are rideable? Seems like you were out there, at least on foot.
  2. Anyone been out? I’m assuming it’s too wet to ride, but I’d thought I’d check here for someone to tell me different. Thanks! -Scott
  3. I took it as Chardog saying to anyone (you aside), to stay off the trails when they are this wet, since it seems apparent someone has been riding on them. The first thing I noticed that you said was that you 'walked' the trails, to which I applaud you and thanks, since my lazy ass wouldn't have done it and waited for someone else to scope it out 😉 .
  4. I've seen these trails mentioned numerous places and I know where the Cat Mountain area itself is, but it seems to never be mentioned how to access these trails proper. Is this intentionally being kept a secret (a la DM's only)? I'm familiar with the Bull Creek trails, Thumper (it's been awhile) and some others in the area. Anyone want to help a brother out with some details? I'm looking for some new trails to mix up my weekly ride. Thanks, Scott
  5. My buddy and I attempted to ride Walnut last night at 5 pm and I suppose it must've rained a bit since there were some muddy spots on BMX loop and log loop. After we saw log loop was still wet and had to go slow and avoid the muddy spots as to not tear up the trail, we bailed onto the sidewalk and went back to the cars and called it a day. If it doesn't rain today, I would think they trails will be just fine.
  6. I am wondering if this forum template supports user preferences setting the sorting defaults for the user, but it's just not enabled. If people like the way it is now, cool. If most don't, perhaps we can change it site-wide. We could have a poll or something to be democratic about it. Just ideas here.
  7. tapatalk ? yuck. sorry. I'm not on mobile either when I view this forum.
  8. Asking $900 This would be a good starter bike with some decent upgrades. The bike works, rides perfectly. It's trail ready, all you have to do is fit it to you. Bicycle Blue Book puts the value of this at ~$1,500. Original Bike specs: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Pivot/Firebird-XT,4340 Parts upgraded/changed: - Fox RC4 shock with coil over - KS Lev Dropper seatpost - Hope Pro II Hubs - Stans Flow 26" rims - Tubeless tire/rim set up - New rear Maxxis Ardent tire - New WTB Rocket V saddle - Chris King Bottom Bracket - Chris King Headset - Deity Handlebars - SRAM Guide R Brakes (recently bled at LBS) - 203 mm front rotor, 185 mm rear rotor - 11 speed SRAM GX rear derailleur and cassette - Front fork serviced at LBS - Chromag Ranger stem
  9. I was looking for a way to set this for me personally, but I couldn't find it in the settings. Thoughts on making the default behavior be newest posts to a topic be on the top of the thread?
