  1. You may have seen this bike on Craigslist, I'm surprised there have been no takers - It's in like new condition, size 54 (medium). I have reduced the price to $1000. I just can't get used to a drop bar, would consider trading for a similar spec flat bar bike as long as it's 1x (something like Specialized Sirrus, Trek FX etc). It was originally a 2x, but I had it converted to 1x (original parts are included in case you prefer 2x) Someone take it, make a reasonable offer...was nearly $2000 new. Here is a link to the specs. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/diverge-elite-e5/p/199688?color=320083-199688 Thx Damon
  2. I have used one of the Yakima tailgate pads for a few years and I like it. One thing to look out for -- I just bought a new Silverado, and now the tailgates are "powered," which means there is a button on the dash that lowers the tailgate. I think it's stupid, but it's also dangerous if the button gets pressed accidentally when the bikes are there. Fortunately the power tailgate does not function unless the truck is in park, but still seems risky to me. To answer your question about sliding around, my bikes have always gripped the pad well and don't move much at all.
