  1. Rego is live - waivers will be provided on site: https://EB2023.eventbrite.com
  2. It's a fuck sight harder if you live in Colorado.
  3. Back in the heyday, it came pretty close!
  4. To be honest, I can shave more weight by losing a few pounds myself, before I need to worry about bike parts! However, when I wear ‘em out I will likely replace ‘em with Pirelli Scorpions.
  5. Came on the bike, which I purchased unexpectedly a couple months back during the big Ibis 25% off sale. Prior to that, I was (in Colorado) riding my 12 year old Stumpy which was a size too small. I guess it never occurred to me to switch the tires out - they've been fine so far. Been enjoying the bike immensely!
  6. Monarch Crest, a tad under 12K. A glorious day!
  7. Hooky Day ride for me. Monarch Crest, a tad under 12K feet.
  8. You would drive to Alpine for the weekend(s)? Must have been quite a gal!
  9. My 'R' took place on Monarch Crest, with the 'I' at Elevation Brewing. If it's any consolation, the deer flies were out in abundance.
  10. I likely do, but I won't be back in Austin to look for it for a while. Can't you just grab any old one and saw it off?
  11. I bought my first PC in Sim Lim Tower!
  12. We lived in Melbourne, and often used to stop off in Singapore to buy electronics. That humidity was nuts! I remember walking outside and you’d count to three, by which time you’d be dripping in sweat.
  13. It’s a mountain bike - what are you thinking might happen to them?
  14. Well, that should stop the break ins.
  15. It's private land - I don't think camping is on the agenda except perhaps for specific events.
  16. Hmmm. I’ll be driving right thru there tomorrow.
  17. He also may have something brand new just sitting there - he does a lot of custom builds and often customers swap something out during the build process.
  18. Drops back in when he needs a spot of cash, eh. "Even though my time here is done" - from July, 2021.
  19. A couple of us hit Area 51 today - there's miles of singletrack in there. Coupled with more singletrack on the far side of 183, we rode a three hour loop from my place on Shoal Creek. Nice to have options.
  20. Wait, you're back? Didn't you leave, because we were all boring?
  21. I did see one gravel rider coming out of one section and diving off into another. I was on a gravel bike too, and was very tempted to follow, but had my wife with me, and didn't think she would enjoy the dirt as much.
