  1. Hey So after tons of reading a few years ago ('16) I went with Glow Worm (Action Lites) I bought the previous models of X2 and X1 I run X2 on my bars with at the time a advertised lumens of 1500 Lumens I run the X1 on my helmet with an advertised lumen of 950. These are pre wireless remote so I have the button to turn on and off and adjust. The kits were not cheap , I paid back then $417. But I really believe in getting what I pay for if it is quality. In all my rides I have never once had my lights go out except for once and that was due to a broken solder connection inside the battery. I normally ride 1.5- 2 hours for night rides and no issues. As far as the solder issue. At the time my lights were out of warranty so I reached out to see to my options and the dude said no problem and sent me exactly what I needed, even out of warranty. He stood behind his product. Last April I saw they were clearing out older models so I bought another X1 and battery for $80. I cant speak to the remote wireless of course but the over all product has lasted me. They take some brutal beatings riding BC at night and have so I am sure that isnt great but to me 100 buck a year for someting I depend on is worth it. I dont agree that more light is better, there are still shadows whether you are rocking 900 lumens and 4000 , which is obnoxious imo. You are welcome to borrow my set for a ride if you want to
  2. Ive had this saved awhile and learned a lot from the article on forks https://www.theproscloset.com/blogs/news/fox-vs-rockshox-mountain-bike-fork-guide
  3. I thought I was the only one. I rarely wear one. Maybe in the winter when Temps drop below 35ish. When I buy shorts I cut them out. They are uncomfortable, they are like Antonio said.. riding on a sponge. I am hot enough in the summer I dont need to look for ways to get hotter. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  16. I have had 2 trailers in the last few years and towed with a pickup. I learned that the advertised towing is different when you use a towing calculator and determine more precise weights. What the marketing people tell me a tow capacity is and what it actually is can be very different. They don't take into account other weight that should be considered, like fuel family dog.. kids.. food .. cooler.. ice .. propane. That all counts. That said.. educate yourself and understand all the unknown aspects of towing. It is a safety thing for your loved ones but also the random others on the road. Wear and tear and peace of mind. 20. I recall years ago in Bike mag , early 90's , I read a little article about how to crash and one thing always stuck and has come in handy,, When going down on the bike, let the bike hit the ground first. This isnt fool proof but in the slow falls where I actually see it coming I put the bars down 1st into the ground instead of my hands\arms , let them break my fall.
