  1. My wife in her role at UT manages a bunch of people and one of her biggest struggles\complaints is trying to get sick people to not come in. But-- they dont want to burn PTO or they are not paid very well and need every cent.
  2. Well played Sir-- I was looking at porn the other day,, (bike kind) and found the Chamois Hagar setup with straight bars,, beautiful

  8. Yea -- Good seeing you. I find it nice running into people I know on nearly every ride. I would chalk the throat up to the green stuff covering the cars now
  9. You might want to consider altering times to ride to miss the crowds. Sunrises are a nice way to start the day Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Nice. That's exactly what's needed on trails now. Sarcasm of course Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. Yes! Last night was mad. I did go for a hike with my daughter about 130 today on 1/4. Saw only 2 real bikers. About 3 the crowds started. I've decided morning rides or night. I dont blame people , especially those with little kids being out but the frigging cluelessness is outstanding. I literally rode about 3 feet or less behind the rear tire over most of PP because some long white haired , camo wearing , earphone wearing, old tool on POS bike refused to let me pass. Refused. Looked me in the eye. He saw he saw me. He could smell me I was so close. He refused. I decided (maybe wrongly) i was gonna use his forehead as a kicker if he fell. When i went to pass his ass under the bridge un Parmer he literally ran into me. Never ever in yrs and decades of riding has that happened. Rant over. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  13. Yes. I have seen kids up there more than once and last year actually saw them have to jump down on the fence that covers the trail. Scared the shit of me since I dont want to see that.
  14. I saw the people up there on the trestle. I have seen that before and if you are dumb enough to do that , well tell Darwin I said hi I think I might ride at night again to avoid. I dont care that people are using the trails really, but some are outside their pay-grade for sure. Now some folks have been super nice on the trails and get out of the way and are aware.
  15. By the way... I am blown away at how many Barneys are riding their bikes with reflectors and no helmets on DD or 1/4 Notch. I saw a girl , less then 5' tall riding down the Bailout from 1/4. No helmet. Flip flops on a 29er. Point being please be aware there is gonna be alot of people out on the trails that are above their pay grade. I'm all about them enjoying the trails. I get parents being at with end with kids and looking to get the kids out. So no judgement really under the circumstances but please be aware these folks are out there so we as riders should be extra careful. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. Barry-- I'd consider you a pretty active and serious rider.. what kind of normal maintenance do you regularly perform?
  17. In You Tube , I searched TED Talks and bikes and got numerous choices.
  18. I didn't realize how many bike related TED talks there are on YT. Some pretty cool talks if you are bored or want some background noise while working at home
  19. Maybe so-- I've been told by my kids and guys at work a lot younger than me that they hear it as the boomer killer. Since I am Gen X,, I guess I am safe then by that logic

  22. Crap.. I have a great reply but dont know if it is racist.. it's funny (to me) at least Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. My 74 yr old mom wouldnt agree with that idea.
  24. I have 12 yr old and a 15 yr old kids. Just me and my daily talking and all , it has surprised me a lot when they call me out on things and tell me stuff is offensive and I sound like a racist cracker When they explain to me something is offensive I am surprised. I have been learning at my ripe ol age that yea-- it doesnt matter if I think it is offensive or not, maybe it wasnt back in the 70s or 80s but time has changed and so should I Maybe consider the others feelings
