I am ok buying something that cost me a little more. Not like a 100 more but I find if I buy in the off season I get the $100 shorts or jerseys for considerably less. I wear the hell out of them all year and for years. So a set of shorts that may run me 80 bucks but I wear countless times years are really not pricey over time.

As someone who grew up in an Evangelical home, I can 100% guarantee you that a large swath of that population sees everything through the lens of "reading the signs of the times" and think that every attempt by world leaders to do something helpful is part of an evil plot to form a "new world order" that they think is foretold in the Bible. (it's not in the Bible, that's just one obscure interpretation that has taken hold more recently, especially in America.) John Hagee and the like. these people are brainwashed in their churches to think that everything positive for civilization is a plot to make them deny their faith. it's really unfortunate because the more facts, logic, and reasoning you use against this worldview, the more sinister you look in their eyes. their minds are like black holes. they live in an intellectual bubble and it's likely that their though leaders are true believers.

Pre covid me and my son would go a couple times a year to watch races. Wander around wherever. We liked the open paddock and pits. Kids could get up close and personal with the cars and drivers. Alot of fun.
We would stuff a pack full of picnic stuff. Food and water. Too bad they headed to being fun govenors now.

I've heard from others that COTA got strict from some buddies who went to the Nascar race a few weeks ago. Like dumb strict

Two long hoses in hose reel boxes. Located in central Austin.

He’s a great kid.  I cherish the days I get to ride with him.  It won’t last forever, but this is a unique time when we both love riding.  
Over a span of 2 years it is much cheaper than almost any club sport (or at least that is the rationale  I’m going with).

A&E’s WWE Legends will suck you in. I only watched the old b/w stuff growing up and only know some of the characters featured, but I’m hooked. 

Also, sad news, Monkey Wrench is closing its doors at the end of July.  Another instance of a long-term viable shop being made unviable by rising rents in Austin. 

Super nice!  As long as Intense keeps making mountain bikes, I'll keep riding 'em.  The best!

Haha does that mean you are blaming me for the RAIN!!!!!! Forecast was already set for wet weather this week before I took possession of the bike.
