  1. Indeed, rented a bike and rode for a day of fantastic train / tram / gondola lift assist with fantastic views of Matterhorn (and a bunch of other mountains). Not represented in the photos, but there was a pretty crazy cowbell serenade on one trail.
  2. This is the setup we used at big bend. We basically used a small backpack, front roll and my bike had a tail bag. The frame bags had the heaviest stuff with the water getting as low slung as we could get away with. Keep the front bag lighter.
  3. Kinda makes me want to make a clone on my laser. Or better yet, post an ad offering laser engraving services using this image.
  4. Just got the email they aren't opening until the 28th to keep an eye on the fires.
  5. Going back to trying to sell this guy again. https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-salsa-woodsmoke-carbon-nx1-275/7463637643.html Now $1400 with the dropper. Still don't ride it enough, so it needs to go.
  6. You can go to the bottom and change the theme. Invision is uglier, but has buttons, there is also the dark theme that seems to have them.
  7. I bought a big Quincy air compressor on the cheap (er) from them. Overall I agree it is mixed like RedRider said. They carry a few items that are harder to find, mainly in the large equipment category.
  8. I just use bungee cord laces: https://yankz.com/product/black-w-black/
  9. You could go for a cheap bluetooth amp for each space: (there are many options out of china, here is an example) https://www.parts-express.com/Lepai-LP1601S-200W-Class-D-Stereo-Amplifier-with-Bluetooth-and-Power-Supply-310-303
  10. Also, in case anyone is interested I have the matching frame bag that I'd throw in for $50. https://www.rei.com/product/138653/salsa-exp-series-ht-frame-pack I also have an e*thirteen TRS 170mm dropper that was installed if you want to add that. (30.9 diameter) $100
  11. Thanks for noticing the missing details. I updated the ad, it is a Large frame size and I'm the original owner. I have a third picture, but it is "-200" so I can't seem to upload.
  12. Pace Bend had a nice breeze this morning. Also new bikes are the best!
  13. $1500 Makes an excellent bikepacking rig! Go nuts and convert to belt drive! Rode the bike around 100 miles. Decided I really liked full suspension better. https://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/2019_woodsmoke_nx1_27.5 Specs Frame Woodsmoke Carbon Large Fork RockShox Recon RL Solo Air 140mm Headset Cane Creek 15 Axles Front: 15x110mm Rear: 12x148mm Rims/Wheels WTB Scraper i40 Spokes 2.0, brass nipples Tires Maxxis Minion DHF (front), Rekon (rear), 27.5 x 2.80, 60 tpi, EXO/TR Crankset SRAM NX, Boost Chainrings 32t XSYNC Chain SRAM PC1110 Rear Derailleur SRAM NX1 long cage Rear Cogs SunRace CSMS7, 11-42t Shifters SRAM NX1 Handlebars Salsa Salt Flat (XS, SM) Rustler (MD, L, XL) Tape/Grips Salsa File Tread Stem Salsa Guide Trail Brake Levers SRAM Level Brakes SRAM Level, Centerline 180mm rotors Saddle WTB Volt Sport Seat Post Promax 30.9 Glamour shot from Walnut Creek. e13 180mm dropper not included (but negotiable).
  14. https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-vitus-escarpe-full-suspension/7351934100.html It has been a nice riding bike for a while, but now it needs to find its next gig. Action shot attached for less boring pictures than garage wall. $1500
  15. https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-small-specialized-epic-2004/7351229721.html Super light weight. Almost vintage.
  16. https://austin.craigslist.org/bop/d/austin-kuat-sherpa-hitch-mount-bike-rack/7350875830.html SOLD! Cleaning out the garage. This is the first version, so some large bikes don't fit very well, so we upgraded to a new one.
  17. Walnut Creek was in good shape today at lunch.
  18. Looks like the trail is already gone...
  19. I'd say go for a California Air. Super quiet. It took me a couple days to notice I left it on in the garage.
  20. I got something like this for my bar light: https://www.amazon.com/Bright-Eyes-3-Pack-Clear-DIFFUSER/dp/B00RKP6GZG It spreads the beam out. Works nicely. I still use more of spot on my helmet.
