  1. I'm not worthy...ive learned that I'm not a bike rider but just like to ride bikes... I got dropped once..than found them again and started trailing before getting dropped second time...I got a new pr of 180 heart rate though woo-hoo Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk

  4. I went out there and checked it out..their was a decent group at finish area. My buddy ran it so cheered him on at finish line...falling seemed to be a recouring topic people where talking about it. My freind fell twice and had a pretty nice goose egg and cut on his forearm. This one crazy lunatic ran it with sandals tied on with rope and duct tape haha...I told him he needs to send that in to oofos, the sandals holding up is almost as crazy as him running in them haha An event shirt with the sweet logo they had would of been cool but they got to choose from a running hat or gloves instead, and got a beer at end so that was nice. 5. I dropped my bike off the other day to get the service done I had a coupon for when I bought the bike from bss...a stumpy..they still honored it... having them replace my whole drivetrain shifter and derailleur. You can walk into the shop and what's good is they're not busy right now since just opened ..Should have bike back by end of week. I was dealing with Jake who had been there with bss, he was helpful and brought to my attention I have a big ass and needed a wider seat ....never thought I would of needed to measure my ass bones before. I always felt like I needed to adjust my self when riding so hopefully it will help. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  6. Thats a good shot ..I tried a few times to get pics showing how heavy and fat the snow was coming down but couldn't ever get a good one Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  7. Haha I was just laughing about how we have to use drainage ditches for our sledding hill...dusted off the snowboard and made a nice size tx snowman Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  8. There is a foot race happening on Jan 30 just fyi in case anyone plans on going out there, it might be little crowded with marathoners so another day may be better Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  9. Went to snail today, its been awhile and man it's looking awesome out there..good work guys I appreciate it. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  10. Ill reiterate his dumbassery to him Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  11. I have a redneck buddy that likes to throttle his diesel and blanket black smoke on Roadies... I call him out for being an assshole but he finds it Amusing and just chuckles to himself Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  12. I've only had someone get uppity with me once on goodwater loop when it was crowded with hikers and she was in a big group and thought my slow ass was going to fast by them ...I tried to give them fair warning but people get confused on where to get out of the way...I told them to pick a spot and stay...maybe she didn't like that ...I ordered me a timberjack bell after that but still hasn't showed due to usps complications Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  13. Of all the chunk and trail on goodwater loop the worst part for me, in more ways than one, is the final road climb to cedar breaks after dam...very anticlimactic and I despise long gradual road climbs Edit: im not a road biker so not sure if that even fits into category of long gradual road climb but it felt like one... 16. I'm pretty horrible at manuals on my mtb but I was sessioning the pump track and used my brothers 24" and felt like a new manualling man...until I manualed to my back off a jump and have some skinned elbow scars from it ...I haven't tried much since .. Track stands I feel would be pretty helpful but its not just stands but coming from a stop to dynamic movement that's the hard part for me on the trail Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  17. Haha...well maybe little exaggeration Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  18. Nice reply and I'm not disparaging anybody on age.. I am going to be 42 in February and I've been passed by some old rock slingers more than young...and what you say about challenge is what you make it is very true.. I got more worn out doing a hard 10 miles at Walnut Creek than an easy pace 26 miles of Lake Georgetown... Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  19. Well if age is relative to the time spent on said topic then yes I'm a youngster.... I've rode city park once, I walked a lot, never thumper but would like to. My question was on yalls thoughts from your experience not mine..and speaking of relativity your right this question is relative depending on your skill level combo'd with aggressiveness/speed.. And you sound like an old codger... Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  20. So you'd rank thumper over city park? Is thumper your number 1? Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  21. Agreed...not sure what way would be best way to break down, really need different categories but that gets difficult So how about what you think is the most difficult section of trail that is around 1-7mile range? Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  22. Cool river...or cougar river ... Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  23. I don't have near as much experience or have ridden all the trails around here as most of yall so I'll use double down as a base line. I guess it's hard to break down between trail system and individual trail segments but ill just lump together for mine.... The three hardest for me have been: 1. Double down/inception 2. City park but overall I think double down tougher but city has some tougher individual 3. Mt. Lakeway trail I haven't rode much south and I would put lake gtown in the mix too,not for difficulty but just grueling length. Whats yalls list of favorite difficult trails..
