Not sure about details....but I got to know Claire and Cody through my MX friends. So at one of the parties, I got to meet the "new" guy... Hill. He was as cool then as now. Got my first Cooks from them in "84. Seen Claire not too long ago and a "old MXers party".... had a big crush on her for sure. Cody had a "salmon" colored Cooks.. man he could do a coaster wheelie in circles ! Due could ride. we lost him a few years back. I do remember riding with Hill on a white Stumpy...and me on a white Cooks... when the was only the main trail on the green belt. I hold Hill in high regards.

Hill did not start BSS.... Claire and Cody did.. the original shop was on Barton Springs..

if any one really needs a tandumb... there is a Fisher hanging from the rafters at my sister-inlaws place. it's older...but is a Fisher.....bet she would sell it.. just say'n..

So... my take: not so much the trails that I ride... but the "new" geo takes away the "10 speed" feeling and the bike seems more like an off road moto. I don't feel like I'm riding a Schwinn Varsity through the woods. Tons more confidence every where for me...

Nope.... CP was built by the Capital Cats.... so they could ride in the wet conditions... on dirt bikes....not trials bikes as you stated.

So, I was a late to the dropper deal.... really don't use it that much. but I did find a use for it... wheelies...!!!
