I slept in till 7:20 this morning, way later than I had planned. Hit the trails at 8, and done at 10. 72 when I started, 88 when I was done. Humidity wasn't really bad at all.

I've been considering selling the Bronson and getting a badass XC bike. The Bronson is a carbon C model from 2019. Really nice bike, but I'm definitely more of an XC rider than an enduro shredder.

I'm going to start doing night rides at Walnut. As long as I'm done and out of there at 10 I should be good. I have all the proper lights, and extras. I've never done it, but it should be cooler.

We're still hearing about MotoGP riders and crew that are coming up positive. Not sure why they wouldn't be 100% vaccinated. It's not like they can't find jabs.

.6 loop has three areas that have been really tore up. A couple spot where the trail is suddenly very wide with a couple b-lines. Another spot where the b-line goes the wrong way around a tree, You can tell they were done when it was really muddy. The ruts are deep. Looks like they were all made by people that didn't know the trail, or they would have never gone where these went. Windy has a few bad spots also. The rocky climb by the water going ccw has that old perpetual running water that makes it really slick.
