Rode the new trails about 2 weeks ago. Lots of fun, a wee bit more climbing then I was used to RHR. That comes from using more of the front part of the ranch and several switchbacks. The newer stuff in the back now, reminds me a lot of riding at Warda(BCR), which is a lot of fun. If anything right now, the trails needs lots of wheels down on them to get them burned in. I was able to navigate the new trails without a trail map, so that is a plus also.

Let me try and explain it some more, I bought a set of wheels from one of their salesman, he had a take off set from one of his bikes, we did the transaction in an HEB parking lot. So to further explain, the wheels belonged to one of orange seals salesmen, orange seal themselves did not sell me the wheels, just a representative of theirs. If you need further explanation, please let me know, and I can try to further explain it to you. Maybe draw a picture or something along those lines

Maybe close to a decade(8-9 years) ago I bought a set of wheels for my sons bike from one of their salesmen at the time. He swore up and down both wheels were good to go, full of sealant, shouldn't have any issues with them. My son was racing at RPR right after I bought them, he got a flat on a section, and it would not seal back up for him. Got it back to the truck, trying to figure out what was going on. Come to find out it actually had a tube in that wheel. And was not set up tubeless like he claimed. To say I was a bit pissed off, would be an understatement, had I known that, I easily would have set it up as tubeless. The other wheel was actually set up tubeless. Ever since then, I have not used their product, and tell everyone I know not so use their product. Which sucks, as I would like to support local business. I've even gone as far as to replace sealant in my tires set up by my LBS once I learned they used orange seal. If the salesman was willing to lie about something like this, how trustworthy is the rest of the company?

I tried Black Ox sealant on a whim($30 for 32oz), after watching some of their vides, have been using it for about a year and have been very happy with the product(most of my weekend riding is at RPR). Made the switch from Stans, never have, nor would I ever use orange seal. Plus they are US made product. https://blackoxsealant.com/

I have a couple of friends who are trying to do this, either this weekend or next weekend. Wish I could have joined them, but other travel plans messed that up.

Yuup, ran into the same issues, huge PITA, but the recent design change on the one I have now, only about a year old, I haven't had the same issues. Totally different mounting platform, and seems to be working out fine. No more plastic bushing if I remember correctly, haven't had it off in awile.

Well if we're changing cassettes also, then I would suggest the E-Thirteen 9 x 46. That will get your top end back. Currently on my second one, and love it!! Normally I am able to climb everything around here with my 32 oval. But when I did the hill climb race out of Palo Duro canyon I did swap out and put my 28 back on. 9-46T: 9,10,12,14,17,20,24,28,33,39,46

I would personally swap them out. How often do you think you will be in top gear spun all the way out? I would say not very often. Better to save some legs and enjoy the ride.

I hope so, just for the sake of reciprocating with other states. The funner news, that's not being mentioned much is stamp less suppressors if made in Texas. Now that's fun news!!

So there is the far west hill, 368 feet of climbing over .7 miles, so that would be 79 laps, just under 55 miles.... Not a busy road, great bike lanes going up and down, very doable. If someone chooses to do it, I live near by, and would love to over support for the day

I'm on my third Tundra in a row. 2005 traded in at 234k, 2009, traded in at 254, 2019 has 26k on it now. Tires, fuel, several sets of brakes(damn trucks are heavy with crewmax and 4x4 every time), and had to put a starter in the 2009 one year. Not the most exciting vehicle out there, but for dependability I am super happy. And I do abuse them more then I should. Now the 2022 tundra looks like it will have the v6 twin turbo out of the big lexus in it. And I am sure it's getting a full redo on tech options. I will see how that plays out. Hoping to keep current tundra for another 8-10 years, then buy one more truck before it's all over.

And if our dog bites someone, the tags mean nothing, need the actual paperwork, or copy of it. Long story on how I know this. :(

Unfortunately I do have a good friend who is against the vaccine. He's worried they haven't done enough studies with people who have asthma. In fact he was offered it pretty early on, be LEO. So we haven't hung out much anyhow, but now super worried about getting together as his exposure probability is thru the roof. And my sister and brother law just had a baby, and they are super cautious right now. Weird, how people think at times. I luckily get my second shot no Sunday!!

First shot about a week ago, just a sore arm for a few days, get the second in a few more weeks. Girlfriend has had both of hers for a while now, no issues what so ever for her after either shots. 2 people at work, felt really bad for about 24 hours after their second shot, and the other had the one doze shot. But then they felt fine. Looknig forward to that second shot already, cant get her soon enough

Yeah, I have a friend who owns a pretty decent sized ranch in Burnett that I've been clearing trees on this fall and spring for firewood. So much deadfall, can't even tell I've removed any wood. Now just to make that drive, and I'll have a truckload. And with how the trees look all round my neighborhood, I doubt Austin energy will get us power back anytime soon. So it'll be generator and fire to keep us functioning. What is super annoying is that while sleeping in the living room last night, the strip mall next to us has power and their outdoor lights are working fine. And everyone south of us has power, just when you head north there is no power. So we'll be able to get coffee in the morning!

That's for sure, we lost power at our place an hour and half ago. I'm on far west, started a fire, headed out to make sure we have enough fuel for the generator tonight. Looks like, we might need to make a firewood run Saturday morning. Gonna be a fun weekend that's for sure.

Gave up all carbonated drinks about 18 months ago, no real desire to go back to them. Gave up most alcohol also, expect for the occasional vodka drink. Now THC, aka edibles have been ver good to me, except for the munchies. Pro tip, CBD edible before the THC edible is the way to go. And the new "fast acting" edibles from WANA, are great, and do as they claim!! So congrats to anyone who can kick any habit, its a PITA for sure

Yeah I have been wearing safety glasses for years. That way if I loose them, or scratch them, I head to Lowes and pick up another pair. I'm too cheap to wear nice glasses when I am riding.
