Dr.Meltdown
I just received a set of wheels ordered from chain reaction, these: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/fulcrum-red-zone-500-mtb-wheelset/rp-prod187195 As soon as they arrived I measured the spacing to make sure I got the correct size. They are boost and the rear axle measures 147mm, but should be 148mm. 1mm isn't much, but will it be a problem, specifically in a carbon fiber hardtail frame? mack_turtle
I would not try to clamp a 148 frame onto a 142 axle, but that single mm is negligible.

Dr.Meltdown
Thanks for the input. I don't have the frame yet and will be my first carbon fiber one, so I just wanted to make sure it had a little "give". I wouldn't want to break anything.
