Not sure the exact model, was 6 years ago but they were high end pedals. I had always heard good things about Time pedals so I figured they would be great. One of the pedals broke the very first ride at Reimers. Now I am not sure if the pedals were defective or if my buddies did something weird to them, but scared me off for sure. AustinBike Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 I have broken one off the spindle but that was ten years ago, back when I was doing a lot of city park. My typical failure is after 3-4 years of abuse and is a spring failure or a bent clip. Always rideable after that, just make sure to pick the right side to clip in.
