Moving soon, need to thin the herd. Selling a very clean 2000/2001 Giant XTC 1 hardtail that I converted to a 1x9 with a rigid fork. I purchased it as a complete bike from the original owner who barely rode it at all. It spent 20 years in a garage before I bought it in 2021.  My intention was to use it as a gravel / light trail bike but I just never found a reason to ride it more than once, so the frame remains in very good condition apart from some garage wear here and there.  I sold the original SID because I knew I'd blow it up, and I installed a Soma Tange Infinity rigid steel fork.  I also swapped on a set of hand-built Mavic X-819 UST Tubeless wheels that have <100 miles on them, I had them built for my old race bike right before I gave up racing so they never got much use. Front has a Hope Pro II hub, rear has a Hadley.  It has the original Race Face Turbine cranks, a new Wolf Tooth 30t chainring and a new Surly bash ring, a new Surly Open Bar zero-rise mustache bars, a Thomson stem and post, a Bontrager seat, and Continental Mountain King 2.2 tires that have only been ridden a couple times. There's a like-new XTR 9-speed shifter/lever on the right and an Avid SD lever on the left, with original like-new Avid BB-7s with a 203mm rotor up front and a 185 on the back. Rear D is the original XTR, cassette and chain are also original and very low mileage.  It shifts and brakes super tight.  Great gravel / path project bike or light XC if you want a challenge.  $450.  PM me for contact info or questions.
