Shinerider
Why....yes it is a dual suspension mountain bike From 40 years ago. I "think" it is one of the original Trek full suspension models..or a cheap Chinese copy https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-dual-suspension-mountain-bike/7135882958.html
Shinerider
And I love this one. "front suspension, sturdy steel frame" Completely forgetting about the rear suspension like it isn't even worth mentioning. Probably weighs about #50. Would make a fine dock anchor! https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/round-rock-24-dynacraft-boys-gauntlet/7135490478.html

I'm pretty sure that its an authentic Trek FS from early 90's. I recall them having that spongy elastomer thing in the rear. I the ATAC stem, with the pruple bar ends are period specific (and not low end stuff). Every thing about this bike is awful and I sorta dig it. But at that price...NO THANK YOU. If it was sub-$100 I'd consider. Later, CJB

AustinBike
What? Am I the only one troubled by the authentic RoxkShox Fox fork? Don't we all remember their collaboration on suspension?
DBehrens
looks like the for sale bike has upgraded V-Brakes and Fork...

gotdurt
So what can you buy these days with $1500? Apparently a 25 year old DBR Vertex with a clapped-out Manitou Comp... "one of the highest acclaimed Diamondbacks ever made" https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/elgin-diamondback-racing-manitou/7143711936.html It's "Super light, Superfast, Super smooth", and he guarantees "that you've never in your life riden a bicycle that feels like this. olddbrider
What's crazy is that someone is asking $700 more for that ancient Diamondback than for a kick-ass 4-wheeler WITH a snow plow attachment!
notyal
I bet that snow plow comes off. Reminds me of the time I saw my nextdoor neighbor unloading a snowmobile from a trailer. Why?
