Amazing terrain in the mountains over the last couple of days. Everything about this race is raw.

Gorgeous scenery. Never been a Remco fan but I guess I better come to terms with it because that boy is incredibly strong and he is just getting started.

If you are a technology, networking and security junkie, the Zero Days on Amazon Prime Video is really compelling:

https://www.amazon.com/Zero-Days-Colonel-Gary-Brown/dp/B01I2EJOW0/ref=sr_1_1?crid=38Y12H4WXYZQH&keywords=zero+days&qid=1664545243&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjgxIiwicXNhIjoiMS40NyIsInFzcCI6IjAuMTgifQ%3D%3D&s=instant-video&sprefix=zero%2Cinstant-video%2C159&sr=1-1

I had always been fascinated by this particular project and this is the first good dissection of what happened and how it happened.

If you think that shooting a satellite into space to deflect an asteroid is an amazing feat of science then check this one out. It was akin to using a bullet to take out an oncoming bullet.

Received a free subscription to netflix through my cell provider and decided to check out few docs i'd heard about

Trainwreck: Woodstock '99

https://www.netflix.com/title/81280924

Barbarians at the gate. Changed my opinion towards the organizers and performers alike. Watched on PPV back in the day, and still get goosebumps seeing 250k people lose their shit, and bounce to some of the heaviest music that was on the radio at the time.

Meltdown Three mile island

https://www.netflix.com/title/81198239

I remember seeing stories about Three Mile Island on the news as kid and the China Syndrome movie freaking everyone out about nuclear power. The series so far has been really good in exposing how close they really came and how much effort was put into suppressing information (like in Chernobyl) .

As an engineer, I like watching shows like Three-Mile Island and Chernobyl, and reading about stuff like Dieselgate.  All of them have things in common:  excessive amounts of hubris, and a culture/corporate-culture that discourages speaking up.  It's downright scary.

Haven't watched the Woodstock one but the Three mile Island one was good. Whole bunch of fuckery went on there. Never ever trust the powers that be to do the right thing.

Passing through Central PA and had to make the stop. Totally surreal to see it in person.

If you haven't watched yet, the new HBO Max series The Last of Us REALLY lives up to the quality of the game. Only two episodes so far, but really good.

I only played the original game from 2013 within the last year (not a big gamer). I love what they've done with the idea and the way it differs from the game. the story and the sci-fi element are different, but so far, the characters are spot-on. I'm a sucker for survival/dystopian/zombie stories of all types.

Then you're really gonna love the future of this country....

I like to fantasize about it, not live it. I just re-watched Years and Years on HBO and that's a hard one to watch, considering how much of it predicted headlines years before things happen in the show.
