As an Artist I need my fix. Describe some trails in poem form and let's guess where you are talking about. Go.

Tried this trail again after five short years,

the ups and downs almost had me in tears,

made it halfway then felt so frail,

then I slogged through the creek and up the powerlines to bail.

Many trees down and areas have changed,

Where there was dirt was now rocky drains,

Even the warm up loop has me falling over,

I hate it when old trails make you feel older.

This is straight up poetry right here.  I'm going to guess Lakeway trails.

Gotta be Thumper, right?

I thought Thumper but there is no warm-up loop.  You're just tossed into the belly of the beast once you pass the transmission tower.

I also think Thumper, there is a 'warm up loop', but it is harder than the main trail. I have a scar on my elbow to prove it. Up top above the tower, it really isn't very well suited for bikes.

THUMPER! MOS DEF  Went for a lap Sunday morning and stubbed both big toes and fell over into a tree hitting my helmet on that first loop off to the left. So yeah I got slapped within the first 5 min pretty good. Then got ass kicked by the first creek crossing and had to take the slog of shame in knee deep water. Craig kept going on the other side but said there were too many trees down to have any fun. Crazy I can slay Georgetown but got KOed on bitty lil Thump. I will try to get in better shape and go back but not until the heat dies down. It could use a few trail days and maybe reevaluate the signage. Also I had a high blood pressure incident less than a month ago and now need to be mindful of chest pains, which is partly why I bailed. 😞

Finally some cool crisp air on a sunny fall day,
No huffing and puffing, just on the trail to play,
Hydration's no worry, a single bottle in the cage,
Newbies out in mass, this place is the rage,
Attacking the features is the name of the game,
But at this place oddly each feature has a name.
