OOps, just re-read your post, says compatible. So why the "saga"? Was trying to buy a 2019 XTR shifter that would work with 12/11spd applications and couldn't find one. Gave up and bought the box, then a day later got a notification from a vendor that they had one. All my other bikes are sram so I just don't need this shifter, but I would have no issue using if there was a need.
