TheX
Sold the Sony NEX5R a few years ago. Needed a small backup cam for hiking/biking, etc. UPS just delivered the Sony a6400. Man, what a HUGE step up. The auto-focus is unreal. 0.02 second focus acquisition.

AntonioGG
You don't mess around! My brother swears by his Sony mirrorless. I have been really into it but with a D40, it's not the easiest to lug around. Do you find you take your Sony to more places than the old SLRs? TheX
I had a D40 for years. It took a lot of abuse and worked great for most everything I was doing at the time. Nikon sold a gazillion of those things.

TheX
6 days later, and still no delivery date, it has been in Dallas for a week.
AntonioGG
All our deliveries are late by a week. It will take them a while more to dig out of the backlog I'm sure.

TheX
Was in Round Rock this morning, now it's in a place unknown with this status. Who knew that severe weather events across the globe could affect the trip from Round Rock to Pflugerville.
AntonioGG
I interpret that as the network they use to locate their packages/trucks. Edited February 22, 2021 by AntonioGG

Although your location may not be impacted by adverse weather, the movement of packages in the network may be impacted by weather conditions in other areas.
TheX
Still shows as no location, and sever weather delays. If it isn't here by the 25th I can get a refund. That means another $2K online order and waiting at least 2 weeks. Even if it said it was delayed for 10 more days, and I knew I could trust that info I'd be fine with it. I just need to know. TheX
Hahahaha...the UPS opened a popup asking me to take a survey. I said sure, vent a little. After about 5 minutes the page finally opened and said that the survey was closed..

TheX
LOL, the a6400 body looks tiny on the new lens. I still haven't decided which full frame body I want. The A9ii is $3,500 and more than I need.

TheX
Picked up a Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 Mark ii fully manual lens. Not a typo, the widest aperture I've used. Serious DOF.
