This was the first cassette I ever bought. Still good. In my defense, I was a 10 y/o kid who couldn't put my clothes on the right way either. They really spoke to me.

Interesting to think of "first cassette I ever bought" as opposed to first record my parents bought me/us (I think it was some symphony thing: "this is a French horn" French horn sound, "this is an oboe" Oboe sound), or first record we were gifted (first 4 Queen EPs + some Various hard rock bands compilation records), first record I ever bought (ugh, it may have been an Olivia Newton John Greatest hits record, or maybe some Mexican pop music record), or first cassettes I ever bought through Columbia Records (I'm sure Van Halen 1984, Diver Down, Van Halen, and Aerosmith Permanent Vacation were in that first set).

In my defense I still like her voice, though not necessarily like all the songs:

I went into a Specs Music way back when.
I saw a Pink Floyd Wish you were here . It was a Gold CD. I had no flipping clue at the time what a CD even was. I bought it even though I didn't own a cd player.
I was soon schooled by my friends that cds didn't play on turnstiles.
Lesson Learned . Still have it.
