TheX
2.5" yesterday, and 3" more today in Pflugerville. Everything is a muddy, wet mess.
mack_turtle
Rode my gravel bike. Got a little messy, didn't hurt any trail. No need for anyone to whine about a little rain.
TheX
I don't see a single person whining.
mack_turtle
There was whining elsewhere on the internet. Lots of it. The same people throw a damn fit every time. Edited May 2, 2021 by mack_turtle

hurronnicane
We are 100% rainwater dependent at our house (no well, no public water supply) so I couldn’t be happier about the rain! All our tanks are full.

Taco Man
Rained off/ on for 90 minutes here at 620/2222. Looks like Brushy has stayed mostly dry watching the radar.
June Bug
We had about an hour solid of heavy downpour. Right now, "the sun is shining, the weather is sweet, make you want to move your dancing feet..."

natas1321
I don't mind the temps, but could do with less rain. Sent from my moto g(7) supra using Tapatalk
June Bug
Sept. 28: Winter is coming...raining and blustery in the 78758/Walnut Creek Metro Park area. It's now a bit after 9 pm. I don't have the sound on but Chikage Windler (KEYE Chief Meteorologist) is pointing and gesturing at the weather map with a lot of red, and now Crusty has flipped the station over to Scott Fisher who is ALSO pointing to a lot of orange/red on the screen. mack_turtle
I'm excited for some rain. The trails have been an absolute dust bowl and my yard looks like a hay loft!

ATXZJ
So we got a little rain in the dirty south last night. Hope it doesn't interfere with anyone's golf game😁 Edited October 14, 2021 by ATXZJ 2

June Bug
The WC area got at least 2.5" last night and early this morning. My weather page noted that Onion Creek may crest as high as 19' where Onion Creek goes under South 183. No notice about flooding on the McKinney Falls State Park page, though.
June Bug
December 18, 2021, 7:38 am Walnut Creek trails are surfable. According to LCRA Hydromet, the USGS stream gauge on Walnut Creek at Dessau Rd (downstream from the park) is currently 1,500 cfs and rising. Currently, it looks like 2" of rain have fallen since the rain event began around 4 am; sure seems like more though. AustinBike
I think this generally says the R&I is probably not gonna happen next Tuesday because we have a few days of rain or at least overcast skies. Look out for poop bags downstream. Edited December 18, 2021 by AustinBike
