Trail dogs

Yeah I love them too. That's how I wound up with this one even though I already have a dog. I have a Husky not a good trail dog due to the fur and the inability to listen. The Husky has the attention span of a gnat. Had my first heeler for almost 16 years broke my heart when she died. This one is pretty small for a heeler she's seven months old and weighs 21lbs. She might hit 25 at most. But she's smart and fast. Best house dog anyone can have super protective.

i have a red heeler, she is a great trail dog. She also barks at anyone coming to the house.
Even at 11 she still loves to run the trails and can mostly keep up.
The next heeler I get but not any time soon will be a red heeler, always wanted one but seem to always end up with blue heelers.
