hurronnicane
On Tuesday we went to Shaffer Bend for the first time. As we were driving into the park my wife realized that she had forgotten her riding clothes. It turns out that a sports bra can be made out of five bandannas. And to replace the padded shorts she wrapped her seat with a sheepskin seat belt cover and a bike cleaning rag. We ended up riding for an hour and a half and she said it was not bad. 4
AntonioGG
I love the determination to ride! I've BTDT (well not a sports bra...) I've ruined several white t-shirts b/c I forgot a jersey and it just happened to be one of those places with red clay. Now I keep an old pair of shoes and my least favorite jersey in the trunk of the car. I actually have a spare of everything now so I can just keep my most raggedy bibs in there instead of throwing them away. I've forgotten socks and ridden sockless and got terrible blisters (I had no bandanas handy).
natas1321
I always have an extra change of riding gear in the truck, you just never know. Sent from my moto g(7) supra using Tapatalk
ATXZJ
That's one way to do it. FWIW, I'm giving away some small and women's jerseys if you need some backups.
June Bug
Abandoning clipless and transitioning to all flats takes care of the "I forgot my bike shoes" issue. 🙂
