eporter68
Yesterday between escarpment and la crosse I ran over this bad boy. It was 4:30pm and he was stretched across the trail. He coiled up when I walked back to kill him. Luckily my buddy was a better rock chunker than I was. It was close to the big boulders along that trail. Tree Magnet
Shame you had to kill him but glad the human part of the encounter is at least okay.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
June Bug
That bad boy should have been snoozing in his den by this time of year.
eporter68
I think the mid-day sun probably brought him out. The game warden told me he's seen them in Feb laying in the sun during the day. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Yosmithy
I've been so surprised this year how many snakes are still out and about around the lakes in the colder weather. It was in the mid 50's the other day out on lake Travis and I saw one of those leg-less bastards cruising along the lake edge. I'm convinced that some day I'm going to look back and see one of them riding on the back of my Kayak. FAWK!!!
eporter68
Wonder how many snakes I've missed seeing by seconds in the 10 yrs I've been riding. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Chongo Loco
Too bad he saw this one. That bad boy should have been left alone and eating vermin for another decade. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
