AntonioGG
I know what it costs to ship a full bike to my brother in Beaverton, OR, but I've been curious if I break down a bike down to front and rear triangle and all the parts removed in more standard size boxes, would it be cheaper? Just wondering if anyone has gone through that exercise.

Shipbikes.com has been the cheapest for me but with fuel costs, who knows.
circuitbreaker
I think just trying to ship the wheels costs about the same as bikeflights shipping a complete bike.
AntonioGG
Thanks guys. Now, if anyone has a bike box that will fit a 29er, that'd be great!

I have a box for a medium 29 frame. Let me know if you or anyone wants it.
