taco_junkie
I've got bike maintenance items waiting on some parts coming in the mail tomorrow so at least one more day for me.
Jackie
Great conditions yesterday. A few tacky spots, but no mud on Bambi, disc go, fence line out to Bear Lake. Bernia was fine, took Firehouse back and it was tacky up top but nothing stuck, no ruts. Terminus, E Spank, home, all good.
taco_junkie
Raining all over the SATN right now. I was hoping that this shower would move on quickly. A little worried about this weekend possibilities.
ATXZJ
Looking to hear how the SATN trails are doing after snowvid21. Destroyed? Needs work group to clear / clean? What say the keepers of SATN?
Jackie
I’m not on Facebook but there’s supposed to be a SATN page that is being monitored with updates. Lots of good folks have been clearing trails and keeping the trail master updated so we don’t duplicate efforts 1
TAF
A couple of downed limbs on Valero, I did not have a large enough saw to easily deal with it (so I didn't).
ATXZJ
was hoping to get a ride in this weekend, but the weather looks like it's not done shitting on us Edited February 24, 2021 by ATXZJ
taco_junkie
I'm not on Facebook either but most of the trials have been cleared. If you find something that hasn't post it here or PM me and I'll try to get to it.
Jackie
Last night I spent a few hours working in the greenbelt. If you want to see where, so we don’t duplicate efforts, it’s simply my name, Jackie Westbrook. Lots of people have pitched in proving once again that the local MTB community is a strong one. Makes me happy to be part of it.
mack_turtle
I helped clear some stuff in Circle C metro park between MOPAC and Escarpment. most of that trail should be clear. There was a large-ish tree down near Williamson Creek next to Brush Country (Valero Loop) that requires a saw. lots of face-slappers along Latta Branch Creek (Koopa Troopa). taco_junkie
I saw that stuff on Koopa last night but my leaking tire took priority. That's on my list to get back to. Has anyone done the full 45XL or just boneyard? I know 45 flow and flow too are done. I'm not sure of anything west or south of there towards the bowl area. The Tip
I'm pretty sure all of 45 is done. I have yet to see anyone mention House Fire or Bigger House Fire. They both go through a lot of cedar trees so I'm assuming there was damage on them. Koopa Troopa was passable after we went through. But yes, it could use a little cleaning up still.
taco_junkie
That big tree on Valero and all of Koopa Troopa has been cleared. I took a different route than normal through Latta and cleaned that up. Still 5 different routes through there I never ride so who knows but the truck route and another one are done. Fire House is clear of the big stuff but I ran out of daylight and there are some face slappers and smaller issues I didn't have time for. I didn't make it to House Fire before the sun went down but I just heard that's good to go anyway.
CBaron
What do things look like down there? I heard we had a good bit of rain? THanks CJB

THanks CJB I’m at Brodie & Davis and it’s dry here. I drove home about 1pm from N Austin and it rained quite a bit on i35 until I hit 71. Not sure about all of SATN but I think the more northern section is probably dry.
CBaron
Thanks, one of my buddy's down there said the same. Rained near his office S of downtown, but not much by his house off Davis -CJB
