AustinBike
Went to WC to scope out things. Worse than I thought. Point 6 was a mess and not rideable. Some of the others were rideable but instead of getting into a discussion of what you might be able to ride I recommend giving it some time to dry out this week.
Teamsloan
We got well over an inch the other night at my house, not surprised it's out of commission. Thanks for the recon.
Chardog
Thanks for staying off wet trails. Riding/walking around wet or muddy spots widens the trail and destroys vegetation. Riding through wet or muddy spots causes rutting, damages the trail and makes the trail hold water. There is no good way to ride a trail in these conditions. fontarin
Based on above comments, I'm guessing that more trails will be unrideable than rideable tonight? Just confirming for a group ride that was planned.
AustinBike
Yes, don't ride WC this week. There are streets, there are bars, an R&I does not have to be at Walnut....
olddbrider
You can't spell Reveille without an R and an I... I know, I know... driving out to Burnet is not exactly practical for a late-afternoon ride, but it may be one of the few places that's rideable. AustinBike
You also can't spell hematoma without "me". Which is why I son't spell much. RPR would be great if it were not so far away. Maybe this weekend.
Ericbike6
Rode over 45 miles at RPR over the last 2 days, it's good to go!!
TheX
WC is awesome once again. The trail crew has done amazing work on sections like .6. The first climb on Windy sucks balls but it's rock so it's mostly just dangerous if you aren't careful. Inner/outer log loop, powerline, Marks art, Twist of trails, Severe, BMX...all in really good shape.
Teamsloan
Get it tomorrow if you can, rain starts again tomorrow night.
AustinBike
Yeah, no kidding. Gonna be an ugly week again.
bestbike85
Yep. I did it all yesterday too. Great condition. Still prefer to ride my hardtail at WC every time. Had a number of PRs yesterday so happy with that.
TheX
The work around the dam is GREAT. Someone put a LOT of time into it. That required actual machinery.
