AntonioGG
This is for a hybrid/commuter bike Jamis Coda) with 120mm rear spacing (no way to use my old XX shifters). The grip shifts suck plain and simple. I’m trying to decide between Shimano Acera m310 shifters, Shimano EF41, or SunRace m53. They are all cheap new albeit clunky and heavy (not much choice for 7-speed chain spacing) If it was only me riding, I would consider friction shifters, but this will be a family neighborhood bike so I want indexed shifters. if anyone wants these 3x7 grip shifts let me know. thanks! St.Bernardo
I run the Sunrace 96 index shifter and love them. You might give the Sunrace SLM2T indexers a look.
mack_turtle
What kind of rear derailer do you have?
AntonioGG
Rear D is an Acera 7-speed with the MF-TZ21 freewheel.
Big_papa_nuts
8 speed shifters will work too. Just black out the extra number on the visual indicators as to not confuse any beginners. I just put some old LX shifters on my partner's cheap dual sport as an upgrade to the Tourney stuff that was on there.
Anita Handle
How many amp-hours is the battery on the bike?

I figured that much, but it's amazing at the pricing differential between "8-speed" and "6/7-speed" shifters!
