I have a few ~40 mile loops out of Bastrop, Lockhart, McDade and Castell built up on my strava. Was going to do one today but really don’t have 5-6 hours for a bike trip. mack_turtle Posted December 30, 2019 Share Posted December 30, 2019 We drove to Llano and headed south on Hwy 114. We followed a route I found on Ride With GPS but the first 12 miles were paved roads. Then some dirt, then we realized we had bitten off more than we could chew and headed straight back to Llano on Hwy 16. Better planning next time! 28+ miles, 1000 feet of climbing.
