ATXZJ
Got one of the weird projects done today. Thanks @Chief for help with the front wheel build. I'm officially off the rails on the MTB hypetrain with both high pinion and mullet now. Looking forward to testing it out at spider and taking it west this summer for some park runs. Mullet slacked the bike almost a degree. HTA comes in just over 62*, STA is 74.5*, 355mm bb height and a 1245mm wb. I'm not a big fan of "murdered" black bikes because it seems like everyone has one... but this, with the fork statement is just AWESOME.

Yeah, for whatever reason my phone was making that red look pink. I went out of my way to make the Commencal the antithesis of my joker purple bike, since that thing is so god damned loud. This time, I just wanted to try the red fork legs......oh yeah, they were also on sale🤣 Admittedly, I really like those Fox mint green lowers too. The Tip
I've debated posting this because I'll come off as a grumpy old man. BUT, being a grumpy old man I've decided that I don't care. So here goes; I am not going to "like" any more bike pictures, no matter how awesome they might be, if the post doesn't include WHERE THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN. Of course I could have just as easily posted, "Hey folks can y'all please post where you took your bike pictures?" But where's the fun in that?

This, exactly this, because ppl also do this on facebook. Like, "Here's a picture of ME on MY BIKE on this AWESOME INCREDIBLY INVITING TRAIL/GRAVEL RIDE" with no identifying location. Pretty typical on the Texas Bikepacking page on fb, as well as the Texas gravel page. Then people ask, and then someone finally posts a route with a Ride With GPS link. To be completely fair, the thread title doesn't imply that one should provide this info and living rooms, driveways, garages are exempt, of course.

Nope nope nope. I want "From my living room." I don't want to have to worry all night whether the picture was taken in their living room or recreation room. It's difficult to live with those sort of unknowns. 😉 AntonioGG, right, no one should say, "and here I am in (blank) where I'm not suppose to be." But they can state "don't ask where this is" so we know they remembered the grumpy old man rule.
