  1. That b line on the altar is very heartbreaking to see people take it.  It took me several months to clear those step ups on 1/4 a couple of years back. Put the work and enjoy the accomplishment ! Thats what its about!

Saw a rider with full face helmet, padded up and kitted out take the b-line....I was cheering him on to go down the a-line but I don’t think he heard me because of both ears being plugged up with ear buds.

  2. So I hit it yesterday and was clocking a pretty nice pace when I came across a dismounted rider bailing water out from between the rollers. Of course I stopped and would have helped but the bucket was not to be found. He was using a square edged shovel to get as much water out as he could. We talked for a couple of minutes and then I walked my bike around the flooded sections and proceeded to finish my lap. As I'm winding my way through the adjacent sections I see a couple of srtavassholes nearly run that same guy over without so much as a "pardon me". I could hear the guy say something like "hey how about a heads up" but don't know if they even stopped to apologize. Damn dudes! Save the clock for another day and give your fellow riders a little courtesy on the trail.

I was the one bailing the water with the shovel. The rider did stop back by and apologized and assisted me on a couple of the rollers.

  3. Damn, did they cut apart that tree on the left to do this?  I assume the crew working on the sidewalk is responsible??  Did you clear it?  [emoji846]
     ..Al

I tried, full sized tree. My sissy arms couldn't pull it out of the way.

  4. One spot was pictured by honey badger precious, the other he started to armor with rocks and it’s holding up well.
On a Strava note, I’ve ridden peddlers 3.0 for 3 laps now and I can’t get Strava to recognize it. Strava always seems to do odd things for me so it could be some setting or me just not understanding. Anyone else able to get it to show up?

I had the same thing happening with the segment not showing up. Once I changed the ride privacy controls from followers to everyone it showed up.

Went and rode the regional trail with my 1 yr old in the bike trailer this evening and to no surprise saw ruts in the visible sections of picnic, 3 people with off leash dogs and one older man (late 60’s or early 70’s) on a mtb bike covered in mud who looked like he may have just come off peddlers pass! I wanted to (and should have) said something, but didn’t! Just not one for confrontation with one of my kids around and the guys age threw me off. He seemed to be well kitted and should have known better.

Saw him sitting under 183 at the entrance to Peddlers, freshly covered in mud.  I yelled politely, "do you think the trails are too muddy?".  Old fart smiled at me... I really hope his nuts get stuck on the toilet tomorrow morning.

Bummer, man - I don't wear a watch, but does it have any kind of 'locate me' software?

It does and I've locked apple pay and reported it lost.  I love it because it is an extension of my phone, text messages, music, etc.  I guess I can now just eff that shit and focus on riding even more.

BTW, I finally have a Stella Ti.. the first time I saw yours I have been drooling for one.

Must have been quite the wipeout - got any video?

Haha.. nah man no wipeout.  I can't believe I didn't realize it wasn't on my wrist.  It took me until I got home and was jumping in the shower for me to realize "where the hell is my watch"...
