  1. How can you look at something under construction and say it will send you into the trees? [emoji848][emoji2937]

Because it was so high it looks like it will shoot you into the tops of trees!
  2. Beautiful ride tonight. Saw 2 bikers all night and that was before the sun set. Amazing considering the masses wanderingly clueless lately.

Also a message to the chick who was in your bra and panties back off 1/4 getting your pictures taken. Number 1.. thanks! Number 2 dont act so surprised to see a biker ride by you. What the hell did you expect?

  3. I find myself running 28-30 pounds, even with no tubes and sealant. I like a firmer ride and I hate feeling like I'm gonna burp a tire on a tight term. Also, I have never had to replace a rim except for eyelet cracks, never a dent.

Plus you don’t leave the ground much!

  4. Dropped out On the hike a bike trail today after doing caddy shack and I saw two Wilco police officers on bikes cruising the paved trail. First time ever for that. Something up? By the way no masks for them!

  5. Born and raised in Ohio and have been traveling and mountain biking all over the country.
There seems tobe some very misleading posts above so I want to give some earnest feedback should anyone ever be in the area.

PENDING THE TRAIL . BE PREPARED TO CLIMB.

prominent trail systems (alum creek & chesnut ridge) both of which with considerable elevation and neither of which would be suitable for beginner level riders. Chestnut ridge even has a full downhill section with doubles , rythems and tabletops.
Outside of Columbus in just about any direction there are some serious, i.e. double black diamond trails.
Ohio leads into the foothills of the Appalachian mountains and is also where the glasciers stopped. So yes there are some flat areas but also areas you can do bouldering and repelling. Stating Ohio is "pancake flat"  is a bit misleading.
Google search MTB trails. Throw a dart. Next to obvious places like Colorado Ohio has quite a bit of serious mountain biking and one of my favorite riding areas in the country.

I agree, quite a bit available, just need to know where to look. Definitely more climbing them we have around here, just a lot less rocks and ledges!

  6. As someone who has actually managed the ARR site for awhile, thank you to the three of you who visited! I really appreciated your support. Managing communication for email, a Facebook site, twitter site,Instagram site, mojo, arr website and a meetup page all for the different needs of the people is painful at best and to be honest not worth it. Consolidating forums had to happen. I suggest if you are adamant that ARR reinstate their site, join the board and take over managing the program. I’m sure Charlie and team would love some new blood and new ideas.

  7. Yeah, I can understand that (even though I loved the inner 40 stuff).  I was pretty underwhelmed with the Slaughter Pen stuff.  But Kessler was great!...and Coler Park too!

Surprised slaughter was underwhelming for you! We hit some awesome stuff there, big drops, gaps, flow, big berms, wooden features. No chunk but I have had my fill with that in Austin.

  8. One day is a short time to ride all trails on back forty. I’m wondering if you hit the good stuff. We spent several hours there this year and still only got about 15 miles in. Ledges has very challenging sections. Plus there are some very fast, Flowey and long downhill single tracks that get the blood pumping. I personally cannot see how someone would rather ride walnut. To each his own I guess!

  9. I'd bet it is a little from column A and a little from column B. Also, as a manufacturer if the cost of aluminum is going up, now is the time to close the gap with carbon a little more and push your customers to carbon, which will be more stable over the next 2-3 years.
That being said, it seems like people just don't break frames like they used to. In the old days of mojo, it seemed like every month someone I rode with broke a frame. These days it is an oddity. Progress moves forward, glad we were all able to help the industry get that sorted out.

    Ahem....
