  1. Spent about 2 hours wandering around SN yesterday, and discovered that little section listed on Strava as "I hang to the left." So many beautiful trails out there.  Also, I decided I really like the fact that it's not signed or marked, gives a sense of adventure you can't find anywhere else in brushy.  As long as you don't try to sneak in a ride on a lunch break lol
The landscape out there is different than the rest of brushy, feels more wild and remote  with all of the trees.  Took a super cool pic of my son on Christmas day riding the bridge about halfway up SN.  Really hope the bulk of the SN area sticks around after all of the development is complete.  #keepSNwild

I totally agree with your assessment of SN. I feel that it’s more of a cross country/exploration experience. I just finished a 15 mile loop from my garage to Peddler bike shop and back. Rode the trails at the church. A ton of potential. Fun jeep and single track tails. Currently just the surface is scratched as there is a huge amount of potential for a lot of single track. For what’s there atm is all smiles. The jump and wood features at the church look fun. The SN area just keeps getting better and better.

  2. My son and I just finished riding the new PP. We have waited riding for the last month+ while the trail work was being done. The 1st words out of my sons mouth was it was so worth the wait. PP is at an entirely new fun level. Don’t mind the new rocks surfaced either. Adds to the challenge. Well done HoneyBadger and the KOM crew and volunteers who made this trail even more awesome.

  3. Walked out there on foot to see all the nice work. Noticed trail was very wet and water standing in low spots. All of a sudden a mtb rider on an old crappy no suspension bike came by me on the trail. I thought surely he would turn around after riding thru some soft mud and water holes. Nope, kept going and could care less about the damage he was doing. Ugh.

  4. It's very good. It promotes mountain biking.

Will the race be a loop that consists of the east and west of peddler? Was wondering how the cross over under the bridge will work? Or will there be some new additions/ route reorientation that will occur? Overall excited about the news. Ready to help out as needed - before and during the race. Hopefully the June race will have dry conditions.

  5. Hey! I was back there too tonight. Was that you and your son I encountered on that new route where we met at a dead end with a 4th guy? I was wearing a florescent yellow shirt.

Yes that was us. That new section is like Disney World for MTB. A little bit of everything. Luv the elevation and roller coaster drops.

  6. My son and I rode Suburban Ninja trail system behind the Peddles Bike shop. Each time we go back there is more stuff added. And now there is major activity on what looks like to be a pump track. All smiles. Mileage keeps growing. Luv that trail system.

  7. Just got back from walking east section of Peddler (aka Carcass Cafe). Some turns are soft but most straights are hero dirt. Some of the rollers are very soft at the bottom but no standing water. New sidewalk trail the county is adding is underway. Some trail is blocked off. East side Peddler is now in 2 pieces - temporary.

  8. Walked to Candy Land this morning. Slowly drying out but still soft in several areas. A day or 2 of sun from being hero dirt (more rain would delay this). Some areas are really torn up with lots of ruts. Trail width has doubled in those areas. Sad.

  9. Just walked out to Carcass Cafe and new section being added. Still way too wet in the shaded areas but it’s getting drier - especially in the non shaded sections. New trail being added is all aces. Thx to HoneyBadger for all the work and excellent design and flow.
