I think purgatory creek is fun ride, rocky in places and smooth in others but nothing too difficult. A good part of the trails are closed for the golden warblers or whatever which is why I don't ride out there till the nesting season is over. Madrone is also a fun ride and would probably do that of the two due to the partial closure of purgatory. Both are fun and not too difficult so I think you would have fun at either one. U

I've been bit before years ago and I don't blame the dog, it's just dogs being dogs. Like the others have said I do blame the owner, and especially them having their dog off of the leash knowing that particular dogs behavior.

The only difference in my backup bike is that it does not have carbon wheels and I do have my rainy day bike which is my hardtail. I've gotten spoiled by fs so the hardtail only get ridden on rainy day or around the neighborhood.

Green is approaching eight pounds. only one serious request to adopt him so far.

Same here. We've had absolutely zero interruption of any utilities throughout this mess. Feel lucky but at the same time kind of guilty given what others have had to deal with. My biggest dilemma right now is finding milk! Had to resort to Almond Milk - so will see how well that goes with my cereal in the morning.  

Been lucky so far with electricity and water, hope it stays that way. Everything is a mess with all the snow and ice melting.

Finally gave up and went to sister in law's house as they have not lost power yet. The dog peed in my sleeping bag and that was the last straw!

Have about 3-5 inches of snow here in San Antonio, hate this weather I just want to go ride.

My turn yesterday, found a phone in the middle of the trail and actually found the owner a short time later in the park parking lot and was able to return the phone to it's owner.

Good to go for me would mean the trails are dry and not even tacky, possibly a few damp spots but easily avoidable. Rocky areas would also be dry and not slippery.
