I make my dog carry them until we get to a trash can. I can't for the life of me understand dog owners who are unwilling to deal with their pet's poop. 

I try to hit up 4-5 different trails each week just to mix it up and not get bored or to complacent riding the same trails all the time.

I was riding past the BCGB trailhead around xmas and some guy was letting his dog take a HUGE shit while he chatted with his girlfriend. Then he started to just walk away to go start his hike. Lots of people around. I screamed "HEY, your dog just took a huge shit." Everyone turned around. He said "yeah, I am gonna get that on the way out" (even though he would be walking right past the garbage cans. So I said "it might be cooler if you do that NOW." Grudgingly he turned around, cleaned it up and threw it out. Probably ruined his whole hike.
It was worth it.

Got a early ride in at flat Rock, chilly 27F° but was good with shorts, thermal and a hoodie.

Once saw a mountain uni go up elephant's butt. For me that was the ultimate track stand. That guy rocked.

I've been lucky to avoid serous injuries, but I still have something just beneath the skin on my right arm that appears to be a piece of the broken cedar branch I crashed into on my very first ride there
There is just something about that place.  I'd feel a bit more excitement whenever pulling into the parking area at CP.

You did better than me, I got just about 4500 miles but on the upside it was all on trails. I hope to hit 5500+ for this year.

Tanks are like warbirds.  Rich people collect yachts.   FU money people collect warbirds and military memorabilia.  They'll make more yachts but there are only so many Sherman's and Hellcats out there.

This, IMHO is absolutely true.

Over 100 track days on sportbikes helped teach me how to do that. It's still a challenge though. There are fewer hazards on the race track.

Manuals for me along with looking farther down the trail when riding and not focusing on what's 20 feet in front of me.

I would be happy to get a lap under an hour at city park, my best is about 1:07ish and I'm just happy if I can get a lap in w/o getting off the bike 5-6 times.

City park would be number 1 for me or close to, but it is always an enjoyable and challenging ride.

That's awesome, I gave up alcohol and coffee for new years last year and still am going without. Who knows maybe I will continue it for the next year.
