D, Picnic and Snail are GTG. There is a big tree down at the beginning of D on the east side.

Automotive shops are scams for a whole lot of services. For example, I had an old Chevy pickup that needed brake pads and rotors all around. Three different shops all quoted me above $1000 for all four sets of pads and rotors to be install. I bought the stuff myself for $220 and had them installed in two hours.
I guarantee their materials cost would be less than mine. They upcharge the shit out of basic stuff people can do themselves very easily. I guess people are just scared of brakes but in reality they are very simple. Before calling automotive shops scams compare vehicle brake pads to bike brake pads or other parts.

But did someone actually break their leg there? I need the juicy details. Stories like that give me life.
Happen to come across this person today. It was a lady and she was proud to point out that the sign is there because of her and tell me what happened. And its really nothing dramatic. It was in 2017 and she was on her first night ride with a group riding W to E, as she went down the first step there at the top her handle bars hit a branch and knocked her off the bike and she fell and landed on a stump breaking her femur.

Rode yesterday late morning. I went out and rode around the Y and noticed it was closed but some group had kids going down the zip line. WTF? So much for social distancing.

This is shaping up to be like the Top Gear episode where they are trying to find the source of the Nile.

Good to know I'm not the only one that doesn't demo a bike before buying. Besides a quick ride in a parking lot to make sure the frame size will fit me I just buy off of specs.

Which part of PP?
The first part, as you are looping around the retention pond its on the west side of the pond coming back up to Brushy Creek Rd.

I always assumed it was a detention pond draining from the new houses being built around the ditch. Same for the little water fall by the RT that usually has water flowing days after a rain.

I wonder if its the same hiker I saw walking up the wrong way on Snail Sunday. I have also seen the same guy on D cutting through in various spots and then just disappearing. Older Asian guy .

Yes, new as of November last year. I'm thinking about Swisstrax but not 100% sure yet.
