Congratulations! Very nice.
I have plans to be there June 20th. I've never been to a bike park, not even Spider yet, so I'm excited about it.
You'll love it! Thanks.

anyone know how wide a tire i can run on Flow EX (older) 27.5 rims? Stan's site has "max tire pressure for 2.7." I'm guessing that's it. my Banshee Spitfire frame and fox 34 will take a 2.7." is that the latest goodness? I think i've got 2.5 DHR's on it now.

My sad bike is at Canyon Cycles getting fresh Stan's pookie and a brake bleed.

I just finished 9+ months of working 50 hours/week and completing the police academy at night/and Saturdays. Passed my TCOLE exam yesterday!
I don't have a lot of time off currently or before I start with the PD, but I have these dates to possibly get up to AF and leisurely stroll down the mountain and drink cocktails in the evening. Anyone want to share expenses (caveat: I have to know you and like you). I'll ride every blue on the mountain, but don't want to get balled up and injured, so just purely a fresh air trip.....no PR's for me since I've not been riding AT ALL.

You should be able to run parallels on the iMac too.It just occurred to me that you need it to be portable to take to class.

If you have a Mac laptop just get Parallels Desktop and you can run Windows on the MacOS. Easy and straightforward, one less piece of equipment to manage.
I have a spare iPad (no usb) and spare iMac. 1st world problems, right???

Oops. Must have USB port(s). They gave us a thumb drive last night at orientation. Class is 9 months long.

We’re a Mac household and all of our devices are locked up with kids and the wife on remote stuff. I’m starting a class next week that requires a laptop with only these capabilities: WiFi/internet, GoToMeeting, webcam, and MS Word. VERY basic I’ve recently dropped a ton of $ on tuition and supplies. Anyone got something that might help a wookie for a reasonable price?

Just build more berms. This argument is getting ridiculous.

Must have been around '88, me and 2 buddies went there to do some fishing (i.e. drinking) and grilling, old Reimer kept hammering into us 'No Camping', 'No Camping', we assured him we weren't going to camp. The fishing/grilling/drinking was great. Unfortunately, my buddy decided to shine his headlights into the river to attract fish. Long story short we lost track of time and the battery died. 3 of us slept in an old Celica. The youngest was still in High School and it was a school day, of course we had no cell phones. We wake up the next morning to Reimer's F250 grill about 2 inches from the open window of the car. HE WAS PISSED!! BUT, he had to give us a jump so we could leave. Heh, good times!
You win. Been fishing there since I was a kid, back in the 1900’s.

We just donated two old-school camelbacks to Goodwill. The bladders were old but the pack itself was in good shape. I'm talking OG Camelback with the small bladder opening.

Major props to my buddy, Gigantor! He rode Chutes and Ladders for the first time at Angel Fire and dropped/G’d out the last “chute” to the detriment of his right buttock.

I usually compromise my children’s nutrition, health, happiness, education, and recreation opportunities for my bike purchases.
Who am I kidding?
i built my current bike ground up in 2013. What I spent on that = family of 4 ski trip or 6 months of club volleyball. I hunt, fish, chicken ranch, goat herd, and garden to provide food for them. Please don’t report me to CPS. My wife has friends that work there, so word might get back to her.
thanks in advance.

What does the Fox say?
Moved this one off my property and over to PB. I did have a mountain lion encounter on my property when I was a teenager. There is no mistaking it when you hear them/see them. There have also been Bigfoot sightings between my house and Pace Bend. Coincidence?

On a map, I'm really close to LV. Pace Bend is right across the lake, but about an hour away by car. I had a guy from LV paddle a kayak over with his bike strapped on top for workdays.

Thanks, bros. I know the 2.5 DHRs are a little much for around here, but I'm not fast and never have been. I like the mountains and putzing around PB.
