Badass. A huge thank you to Cat mtns owner. Very cool of him to let those trails get built. You guys have done a kickass job out there.

East to West is the norm. That's the way you went. But backwards is fun too

It's a good technical challenge. With me getting back into riding these last few months it's a great test to gauge where I'm at. Now I just need to check out the rest of what's out there.

Is there a preferred direction for 1/4 notch/deception?. I started up the sidewalk from the picnic entrance.

I'm headed out shortly to check out new direction. Called in sick, cough, cough

I notice the arrow pointing the opposite way we always ride. Is that the correct way, or preferred way to go?

GF and I rode Peddlers. It was fantastic. It's her favorite trail. She even went over the logs today. Pretty cool watching her progress

I've got a tandem, just say'n....
It wouldn't be that bad, it would just be slow. I've ridden everything at Warda and RHR, and we were not the last people through the (non tandem) event.

That would be kinda fun. 🤣🤣

We're doing a group ride up there on the 24th. Funny, it's not a cycling group, it's people I used to ride sportbikes with. Wow, only 4 more months till my 2 year anniversary of nearly dying. I don't miss riding, but I do miss that beautiful Ducati Panigale Superbike.
Mine was "garage art" for over a year. Fatboy, whitewalls, apes. Looked great, but seeing 2 of my riding buddies go down it freaked me out. Havent ridden since.

Shit, I just want a relatively warm dry day to ride. If anyone wants to ride there I'll drive. GF isn't quite ready for it yet. Shes afraid of heights anyway, so chairlift is s no go. Haha

Pfft. You're going to need the following (in no particular order of importance):
Spandex - everyone knows they are faster than baggies
$300 mtb-specific sunglasses - even if it's overcast (or even dark) you must wear these on your helmet to indicate that you are a true racer
Chamois cream - you can't go fast if your junk has any friction
Supplements and a nutrition/hydration plan - you've got to feed the engine! Just to be safe, you're going to want to hire a nutritionist to plan all your meals pre, during, and post race
Skinny tires - 2.1s or smaller - Rolling resistance is your enemy!
I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of for now...
Yep, guilty of these back in the day. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hahahaha, that's kinda cool. Whatever gets folks off the couch. 😁
I'd kick my leg up like that and probably fart.

No kidding. 35-49. Jeez, I'm damn sure my 49 yo self is zero chance of beating my 35yo self

I almost bought that bike. It was a toss up between it and the Stumpjumper. Guess my brand loyalty won out. It definitely rides nice. Great deal you got to. Makes it only hurt a little. 🤣🤣

Peddlers Pass is basically in the middle of everything. Most people think its the start/end.
Ya, I'm an idiot. I see posts describing the trail names and should have just asked instead of trying to figure out from Trail forks.
Now I can make sense of the rides you guys do. 🤣🤣🤣
Anyone ride a Scott Genius 930?

FWIW, I'm 6'1" 200 and ride large on pretty much everything. I looked at Scott's before buying stumpjumper. Definitely size large
