    Nice and congrats!

They're great tires but hate rolling and weigh a ton LOL.

29x2.5 DD assegai that I just pulled off my trailbike.

To be honest, I can shave more weight by losing a few pounds myself, before I need to worry about bike parts! However, when I wear ‘em out I will likely replace ‘em with Pirelli Scorpions.

Nice! I also gotta give you credit for all that climbing with Assegais F&R😲

Came on the bike, which I purchased unexpectedly a couple months back during the big Ibis 25% off sale. Prior to that, I was (in Colorado) riding my 12 year old Stumpy which was a size too small. I guess it never occurred to me to switch the tires out - they've been fine so far. Been enjoying the bike immensely!

An ask: does anyone have a spare shorty Ergon grip (just need one!)?  They are used with Grip Shift and Rohloff hubs, like this: Ergon GP1 Gripshift Handlebar Grips

Will also check at yellow bike project.

The Spearfish is at Bicycle House waiting for its left side Grip Shift (to shift double chainrings).  Mechanic said he thought that set up could work, although there may need to be a new dropper seat post lever.

random info: Grips for a Rohloff hub have one short and one long, cause you are only shifting on one side.  For Grip Shift, it's two shorties.  I'm assuming nobody with a 1 x uses GripShift, but if so, they'd just get the Rohloff set.

I likely do, but I won't be back in Austin to look for it for a while. Can't you just grab any old one and saw it off?

Brutal humidity, ladies would spend a lot of time on their hair for it to flop down as soon as they walked outside. I had a whole collection of VHS tapes that got ruined in the shipping container b/c of the humidity. I miss haggling on electronics prices, back when I lived there it was years ahead of the west on electronics.

I bought my first PC in Sim Lim Tower!

Living in Singapore for my secondary school years it was hot and humid. Had lots of local friends who either didn’t have “aircon” or never used it (people that bought our house never used our amazing mini splits in every room setup). Just open window and fans, not a lot of wind unless there was a storm. We played sports like basketball in open air gyms, American football in full pads etc. Definitely took some acclimation but totally doable and you just stay hydrated and enjoy the daily rain. It was weird seeing the Chinese teams drinking hot water during games. When I visit Singapore I don’t suffer and my friends come here and say, “it’s almost as bad, lol.”  So guess these brutal summers keep me honest and it makes sense why I prefer the muggy mornings!

We lived in Melbourne, and often used to stop off in Singapore to buy electronics. That humidity was nuts! I remember walking outside and you’d count to three, by which time you’d be dripping in sweat.

We have a Thule 2” hitch-mounted two-bike rack, but need to be able to carry a third bike for an extended time this Summer.  We could trade someone our two-bike rack while we borrowed their three or four-bike rack if that would help.  We would need it for all of July and August.  Or, we may need to find a bike box and ship the third bike (the bike is a large 29er).  Thanks for your consideration!

I've an add-on you can borrow.

I live close to those trails off 51st and we used to ride MX back there in the 90's before the surrounding development. There is alot of potential to build some fun singletrack back there! We sort of gave up trying as soon as the homeless camps arrived and then we figured it would all get developed soon at the rate they're mowing down every piece of land East of 35. Now Ive heard the city bought the land so maybe it might not get developed into condos too soon. The trails being built on the other side of 183 and along the creek are really fun and twisty. I hit them on the gravel bike quite abit.

I did see one gravel rider coming out of one section and diving off into another. I was on a gravel bike too, and was very tempted to follow, but had my wife with me, and didn't think she would enjoy the dirt as much.
